Kent? Cornwall? Inverness?...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

It's OK. I like the architecture externally but internally it could be better. it isn't very large so my motley crew wouldn't fit in and the dogs and LOs would break their necks on the stairs. I prefer a bit of fresh air every now and then so stepping onto the balcony to fill my lungs with fumes wouldn't make me happy. Before I had the children I'd have liked to have lived in London part-time but children need room to run and be free.0

If you can bankroll 4.5 mill then you are bound to have problems with too many chicks.
So you put in a special lift that way you are still ready for action once you get to the 10th floor.;)
...only the chic lift doesn't actually go as far as the tenth floor...pah! 4.5 mil and they can't even put in a lift that goes to all the floors...rip off! (I'm a wheelchair user btw :rotfl: )"According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway. Because bees don't care what humans think is impossible" Bee Movie 20070 -
This house is, oddly enough, still for sale....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Grade 1 listed? You'd probably need written permission just to flush the lav.0

Fabulous, but totally impractical. Even with the lift.
But let's face it this house is not aimed at normal people living normal lives. Certainly not at anyone with a family. It will be bought by a Russian billionaire or similar as a status symbol London pad, which he will stay in 5 times a year and show off to his friends.0
