I think it's fine to try and find a loophole out of not paying the money you have spent. BUT if you do and are successfull you should never be given any form of credit again.regards

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0 -
An interesting, if somewhat emotive debate.
I have seen adverts from companies that will take these cases on the public's behalf. This made me wonder what it is all about so thought I owuld have a hunt on good old MSE. Don't think I have ever seen an OP shot down in flames like this on any other thread! In fairness to the OP they asked a question which I thought the friendly people here would answer, as I have continued through the thread it has amazed me to see the poison spilling out of people. Wonder if some of those people will ever want help and wonder if they will expect people to be civil to them?
I actually thought I would try and find out more about this as I am working very hard to reduce my debts and come to agreement with providors for ways to pay them back (personal circumstances changing which will affect income), I am being proactive. I thought that this agreement thing may be a good negotiating stick, but am now scared to ask for any more help in case I am called a parasite or such.0 -

Your doing the right thing at the moment, don't go down the other road - nothing to gain.0

I can think of an analogy that I used elsewhere; "It’s like sleeping with a married mans wife then giving a husband a kicking afterwards".

Why?
The banks have teams of lawyers drawing up their agreements for them. They should conform with every aspect of the law. If they don't it's the banks fault. I've worked in legal finance - people who do are employed to ensure the law is followed to the letter.0 -

Try the consumer action group site - lots of good advice there.
And none of this deference to fat cats.0
