Threads like this should be banned.

There are at least one thread a day asking how loans or credit card debt can be wiped off.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

(If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)

Well in all honesty i think people who pay hundred's of pounds to these companies who claim to be able to wipe off credit card debts deserve all they get, not very sypmathetic i know but you don't need a degree to realize these dubious offers are just another way to exploit the vulnerable.

Welcome to the school of hard knocks - you don't get credit for free.

These posters are just what fit's the definition of a troll, they come on here knowing fine well that they will wind people up on a subject which the "majority" are against, pay the money back what you have borrowed and be done with, if you can't afford to do that then create an arrangement to pay with your creditors or at worst declare yourself bankrupt so you will be banned from getting credit for at least 6 years, one of the major contributing factors to the state of our countries economy is characters like yourself whom think it is ok not to repay what you have borrowed, albeit you are the type of person that takes no responsibility for you’re actions in life, "oh well, I do something bad and others pay for my !!!! up!"
If folk just lived by the cut of their cloth and stopped "suing" every one and their dog because some "Yankee-yahoo American" culture has set in amongst your community that tells you how you can sue your grandmother if she farts too loud, GET A GRIPP PEOPLE!
And the title of this "digital bandwagon" MSE should be changed to suit its true purpose...cos there aint much money saving going on, more scams than anything else.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

This is one of the reasons everyone else has to pay extortionate interest, because of people who were quite happy to spend the credit then look for any loophole they can find to worm out of paying it back.

Nah, I have never defaulted on a debt, but I have never paid a penny of interest.

If you have a case that is legally sound, then go for it IMO.

    Merry Christmas

Hey Proliant, how are you doing, Merry Christmas mate

Your grammer is not quite correct there. Its "Money that you have borrowed" to be precise.

We have a difference of opinion, your have the the moral high ground, but I think its a harsh world out there and you have to get to what you can. If you can challenge your Credit Agreement within the confines of the law , then go for it.

    Have a great 2009

If you don't want to take responsibility then don't sign an agreement in the first place, then you wont need to challenge it when you get cold feet. ;)

    Well I don't think I am.

Its an unfair world out there. The people paying the highest interest rates (34.9% with MBNA) are those that can least afford it. The stoozers with thousands in the bank are on nice 0% deals.

Its just the way it is, life is not fair, it is harsh.

Its just my opinion (and I have stated it on here many times as Proliant will have noted) that its each person for themselves and if someone feels they have a case to challenge their CCA (Consumer Credit Agreement) then I'm not going to hold it against them.

    Have a great 2009
