    No Worries

I just had my first creditor call and am very confused.

They called me twice yesterday - both times told them i was at work and to call back at 8pm.

Then obviously they didnt call, so they called agian today.

Ive just rang them back and it was agonising, the chap i spoke to obvioulsy wasnt listening to me becuase he asked for my name and post code - which i gave 5 times!!!! (and i spelt everything using the phonetic alphabet - the pillock)

Then he just kept saying you havent paid, you need to set up an agreement - when i said no i dont im bankrupt - he said we can help you just set up a new agreement - ummmmmm NO im not paying you.

The he said when did you go BR - gave him the date, the court and the case number -slowly due to the agonising address confirmation convo and he then asked for the address of the court - so i went online and got it.

But now i feel poo - they arent supposed to phone me - and why is this call centre phoning about 1 loan but not the other (both with the same bank) its very random!!!!!

Anyway, now i feel all carpy and embarressed becuase i had to phone them back from work (0845 numbers are blocked from my mobile) and im all upset that ive had to sit here and argue - my OR has been so amazing and very quick at sorting everything out so im guessing they just havent had their systems updated.

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

To make things worse they have also phone my parents house (i dont speak to my parents because of my Dad who is a 39057905u7odihgioer7639076) so now they have been on to the phone to my grandma abusing her to find out why the bank want to talk to me - would be ok except i havent lived there for 4 years and asked them to remove the number from their system repeatedly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope everyone has had a better day than me!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Report them to the OR Monday morning. What a bunch of t££sers. I do not answer the phone unless I know the number, I may do one of these days and "Wait till they get a load of me".

Well done all of you, I hope you feel better and relieved somewhat?:T

Puzzledbubbles - You don't have to tell them anything when they call except for your bankruptcy number, that is all they should need. I had an argument with Mercer's as they still wouldn't believe that I had gone BR, even after giving them my reference. They said they would keep calling until they had it in writing from the OR, they then called three times in as many days. In the end I stopped confirming the security details, so they won't talk to me as advised by somebody on here. The phone has gone quiet now. :D The only decent people who have called has been a solicitors for one of my creditors, as they are proper legal peeps not just threatening scum, as soon as I told them I was BR, they apologised for bothering me and bid me a good day and put the phone down. :rotfl:
