  • hi all, havent been on this site for ages, got loads of great advice about bankruptcy, officially bankrupt on the 11th march 09,cant tell you what a weight has been lifted,:j
  • Well done everyone and good luck to those still to come :)

Im waiting to hear from the OR with the details on how to pay the IPA - they said it would take 14 days but im really hoping they get back to me sooner because i would love to be able to make the first payment on Tuesday (payday) and then i can start the month properly.

Was looking at my figures last night and im sooooo happy with the change in my circumstances - for the first time in a long time im actually not going to get to the 2nd week of the month and wonder where i am going to get the money for food from :)

Phill got there before me as usual, damn your forum superiority Phil - still luv ya thou ;)

Yeah, tis a monthly payment agreement, some wonderful people (potentially Donna but im not sure, my memory is pants :o ) has a list of each bracket of excess and how much will be taken as an IPA which is a really good guide. It was on one of my early question pages - give me 5 and ill try and do ya a linkie :D

Although my IPA is much less than i factored in to by post BR budgeting as the OR gave me a bit more allowance than i asked for on some things, and less than i asked for on others so my IPA has ended up being half of what i expected to pay :D

Dunno if we'll make the March Bankruptcy Club,if we do it'll be by the skin o' our teeth!
L.I.L.A paperwork away, received by AiB just awaiting further contact going by other posts on here it should be next week...

Mixed emotions am hopeful,:o scared:eek: but looking forward to being debt free and living a better life with some money in our pockets instead of the bank taking it all...
