I quite like the program. Well, I did. The people on here have tainted it for me.

I like them as presenters, but they will have to adapt to the new reality. It's chicken and egg, really. Which came first, the booming market or shows to feed it?

It's funny watching it, stuck in its trimewarp.

You would have thought Krusty & Phil would have had a makeover for the new Economic Reality.

    Everything has changed, everything.
The world Krusty & Phil inhabited is gone, has disappeared, evaporated into thin air, become extinct.

Surely Krusty & Phil represent the past & are past their sell-by date.

Where do Channel 4 find these idiots from? Most people strive all their lives just to own one home. But Channel 4/Kirsty/ Phil can find a seemingly endless supply of buffoons who need at least 2 homes.

Gosh, there's a lot of bile about these two. Do people really think this a major factor in the ramping of house prices? It's an hour long show where people help other people to buy a house isn't it? Or have I missed something?

This forum sometimes reminds me of American's who have a vitriolic hatred for Osama Bin Laden and feel that if he were off the scene then suddenly terrorism would stop. I think if Phil and Kirsty had been suddenly pulled from our screens in 2003 house prices would have continued to rise somehow. Actually, maybe some people on here do blame Phil and Kirsty for the rise of global terrorism?

Look at that new build estate they are being shown round, ITS HORRIBLE!

£10,000 extra to be spent on that new box they like? This tall blonde woman needs a good slap round the head. She is exactly the reason people spend too much on houses, she's been brainwashed.

I can't believe Krusty and Phil have the NERVE to show their faces on tv yet again.
Exactly, these are the words I was looking for. :T

Some people have a nerve, they should have been booted out of the country.

The booming market came first. Televsion normally feeds off cultural trends, it is very rarely creative enough to start them.

The reason the program is back is that the general public are quite nosey about houses and the prices people pay for them. Just look at this forum - a load of people quite obsessed with house prices. I think we'll always have shows like this, just because prices are crashing it doesn't mean the general British public have lost their curiousity about this kind of thing.

I fully support this buffoon's quest for 2 homes, a few hundred miles apart.... once you have two homes, you can ditch the big high maintenance liability.

But yet you're still watching it. And posting on an internet forum about it.

Do you think they are irrelevant? Or do you not think that in reality the general public are still quite influenced by people like this on TV in general?

I do think that alot of the general public are influenced by them, but the market has turned and thats it, so if some of the general public are in denial, all that it will do is lengthen the time of the crash, prices are heading back to 2001 at least, if Spendor and Krustie were on everyday, it would make no difference.

The serious question for most to ask is 'will I have a job to take advantage'
