Tonight is of course 10 days after the last 5p listing day and I was wondering how everyone is doing.
My own sales have been quite astounding, I really am at a loss to explain it. Some of the items are relists and are going at 2 or 3 times more than the price they failed to sell previously. Some old 'stuff' I just had lying around and I almost put in the charity bag have a dozen watchers and several bids.
One item (something suitable as a Christmas gift) was making approx £5 including postage before Christmas, I've just sold mine for £11 including postage. Everything is selling, it is actually quite spooky. I just wish I knew what has brought the bidders out tonight, or what I have done differently, I haven't had this level of sales for many a month now..usually I struggle and most things end at start price only.
The other odd hting is feedback. I had some high end items finish Sunday night, I sent two items special on Monday and had positive feedback left Tuesday..it's unheard of.
maybe it is all just a dream and I will wake up in a moment and see pages of 'sorry your item has failed to sell' emails.

I have only just started back after the break, and didn't list on cheap day, I tend not to, as the site is often cluttered with junk, lol...
However I have a few bits I put on a 5 day listing ending tonight, which I am pleased with.
Good luck & well done with your sales. :-)0 -

Been a good few days from my end - sold an item tonight for more than 3 times the asking prices that I couldn't get pre-Xmas!Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0

Did mine for 7 days, so ended Sunday - only 3 items - one sold to a single bidder (decent start price though) and am still awaiting payment - one re-listed and did not sell - one had no interest (although i did price a little optimistcally).0

I've just started my own ebay adventure (wish I'd done it last year when I had a huge clear out but just put stuff in the tip!). Finding it all a little frustrating - perhaps was too optimistic and expecting to make my millions (of pence) but finding other items exactly the same as mine and listed in the same condition are selling for more for some reason. Just had one listing end without a bid while other items the same had 4 or 5 people biding on them. I'm losing heart....!!![STRIKE]Total debt 1.11.10 £23,446[/STRIKE]Save £6k in 2015 #129 £6121.66/£6000Save £6k in 2016 #39 £6000/£60000

Hang in there Copperjar... it can be worth it.
Make sure your title has all the right key words in it - really helps with the searches, don't just rely on the category.
Good luckNow proud Mumto3 :j0 -

I seem to have a lot of European bidders (but didn't pay extra for visibility or anything) so maybe the geographical suggestion is correct.
I even sold one used item on Sunday that with postage cost the buyer more than the same item brand new from the High Street, how mad is that? There are shops on ebay selling this at the same price brand new and boxed as well, I'll never understand ebay.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
