  • Hi

yes as above text "film" to 241 and orange will send you a code for that coming Weds. Dont forget to take the code to the cinema with you and they will take the code from you when you pay for your tickets. Dont loose your code as orange will not give you another one for that number. Only one code per sim per week. Got caught out on that one myself.

    Have fun

Do you have to have an Orange phone for this deal?

An Orange line yes, if it was open to all networks, then they wouldn't get any benefit!

the last time I checked (last year) the requirements was an orange contract phone or Orange PAYG phone with at least £15 top up a month? Maybe it was £10?

I remember this because I thought many film freaks would just get a naff phone and orange sim and never top it up :P

I've got an orange sim in an old phone that I use just for Orange Wednesday. I had £2 free credit with the sim about 4 months ago and have never topped it up since. I use 10p a week for my Orange Wednesday and that's all.

There is no monthly minimum spend to get the tickets. I use about £2 a month and get the tickets. People who spend more than £10 get priority if it busy. Maybe they issue a certain number each week?

they even offer me more tickets the following week each time

I've always been offered tickets automatically for the following week and I was offered the chance to sign up at 10p per week to get my codes automatically. All that and I've never even topped up my PAYG sim.

Personally I think Orange Wednesday is the best deal ever and everyone benefits. The Cinema is busy on Wednesdays with people that might not have gone to the cinema otherwise, Orange get the publicity and I get to see films that I wouldn't have gone to if I had to pay full price.

If you call the number 241 from your orange phone it's FREE rather than spend 10p on a text. It's fully automated.
