    This is the key bit. If you wanted to send someone in the UK a sum of money in Euro (Christ knows why you'd want to) you would be charged exactly the same amount as you would to send it to someone somewhere else in the SEPA. If we used the Euro as our standard currency and not sterling, it would be relevant. As it is, it's not.
