Hi guys Wings of Ambition was right to move this to the freebie boards. Freebies that just need a call are allowed on this board. Please see Andreas post on it.
Thanks:):hello:0 -

So if (for example) the call cost £1 per minute and lasted 3 minutes, it could still be called a freebie even though it actually cost you £3?We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -
For high cost premium rate calls I would say no.:hello:0

So what if it was 30p per minute (low cost) but the call lasted 10 minutes? It is a low cost call by definition, but the time of the call makes it £3.
It seems a little misleading to me to allow 'freebies' that actually cost you money, surely they should be grabbits (especially when there is a 5000 limit like this) rather than freebies? We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -
I think it's up to each person themselves if they want to apply for the freebie. Martin himself made the decision to allow freebies with a call on this board. However I'd advice people to check first how much the call per minute was and how long the call will last.:hello:0

The offer has changed today. You now need to collect 12 tokens and send with cheque for £1.63 for p & p and you are guaranteed 5 bulbs.0

We have old style 100w bulbs and bought the supposed equivilant to 100w of the new ones, but they just aren't as bright as the old ones0

That's why there's 120/125w equivalents, even though you don't normally find 125w bulbs. So if you use 60w normal then buy 100w equivalent or 125w equivalent instead of 100w.0 -
Energy saving bulbs aren't going to save any energy in my flat. Even the supposedly bright ones are too dim, and since I started having laser treatment on my eye, I can't see well in such low light conditions. So if I want to study or read or do my makeup etc., I have to have lamps on as well. So I'm really annoyed about this counterproductive lightbulb nonsense. Especially now that everyone's been panic buying and I can't find any 100w bulbs to panic buy... :-)
Presumably we'll still be able to buy them on the tinternet from China or something.
Has anyone actually tried to dispose of energy saving bulbs "properly" at the tip? Our local tip just throws all the dangerous stuff into a big skip, where lots of it gets broken, probably mixing loads of dodgy chemicals that really don't want mixing and causing more damage than normal lightbulbs ever did.0
