No one really knows ,quite a few peeps have stayed up or checked the last 3 + nights, just a bit of guess work & wishful thinking, that's unless everyone else knows something I dont

Yes it's the actual prices, I used to just refresh on a picture of an item I wanted and previously the site used to pause for a few seconds and then when the refreshed page came up it would be with the reduced prices.

Thankyou MYLITTLESISTERLOLA, hopefully if Im do get an order in then it wont be a problem getting the points added on later.
I have so many things added to my favourites, will they delete them all too????:eek:

Update on the stores I visited.

Hamilton Palace Grounds. Don't stock Pantene sachets, I asked. Also couldn't see any clearance offer shampoos. Very little clearance No 7, only sun creams etc. Staff always extra helpful in this store though, shame not that many bargains!

Motherwell. Don't stock Pantene sachets or at least so I was told. I half thought I heard them talking in hushed tones after I asked saying they had been 'put away' but I am so not sure if I imagined that! Some No7 clearance though. Although first time in a long time i have been in this store and not an experience I will be hurrying to repeat! (One drunk man, very aggresive security guard and a minor in store altercation. Also staff got rather huffy when I was trying to use my vouchers.)

Yes Motherwell is an awful store, in my opinion never worth going to. Not because of the staff but the stock and parking are dire.

As for Hamilton their is hardily any sales stuff left and no reduced items like no7 ,time delay. The hamilton Park staff had emptied a lot of the shelves and were putting up suncream ( ermn its freezing ,winter and rainy Hamilton !! ).Both stores have very unreliable advantage card machines and sometimes dont work.
I have found NO stores in lanarkshire ( was at ek retail park too today )with pantene satchets or Ulay Gwp. Although another OP said the fort had GWP.
Ek center has a lot of gifts left & tons of advantage machines.

TBH they didn't even delete my whole basket just got it down to a level that the website could cope with, my favourites and wishlist weren't affected

p.s I am keeping all my wanted items in my wishlist as you can tick the boxes to select say 10 items to order ( trying to maximise points for 90% instore sale by just 500 extra points on £50 + spend ) I'll have to do 6 orders but it should be quite quick, whereas the favourites you have to either add them all or one by one, would be quite time consuming especially if the system is slow due to high demand

Hello! Did a couple of good shops.

Went bootsing yesterday on a lookout for S&G! Saw it bayswater at the corner of the store and dashed for it. It wasnt the christmas gift, some other gift set called glow glory reduced to 4quid and another mini set, reduced to 2 quid. Cant rem what it called, but it had 3 mini items including e righteous butter which I love. yay! happy shop. Grab them both(last ones left, box abit damaged) Paid for it with points.

Headed off to westfields. Loads of xmas stock left but no S&G. so didnt bother. They had lotsa pantene sachets, so i took one to e ss till, paid with points accidentally. Went for a refund and chickened out on tryin again.

Today I went into lewisham boots and I tried e pantene sachets again. Tried 1 first and it worked, so went back to get another 6 so I could get the voucher. When I was paying, e SA ask if i took it all, i said no, and before she even finished my transaction, she went off to tell a colleague to grab ALL the remaining ones over for her. The till had no no7 voucher so went off to e pharmacist. She grumbled and gave me one saying she was running out of vouchers as well. Then headed off to no7 counter and there was a reduced lipbalm down to 4.38 so got it free. yipee!

Total spend £39.62 - 2000 or 2750pts - £28.28 saved, 3 more blinkies earnt. Will also try and squeeze in any of the free GWP if i find any.

Im following sndra-scarletts adventures and making a day out of my trip to boots, greatfully helped by the 50% of pizzahut voucher and a few others i have that are local to me.

It seems i have an addictive personality, i have quit the addiction to ciggies and replaced it with an addiction to bootsing.

I have given up on the 75% off sale, i have more than enough blinkies to buy me more than enough goodies to last me a fair while.

There are a couple of vouchers in the back of the Health and Beauty magazine that is free to AC cardholders at boots for 100 points when you buy certain Niquitin products...not sure if either of them are for the same thing that you're buying but might be worth a try for extra points? Sorry can't be more specific, mag is downstairs and I'm snuggled in bed! HTH

Of the two boots stores i shop in regularly i have to say that the No7 SA's look like cougars ready to pounce on their pray! They can be so intimidating. Sometimes i actually wonder if they think i am a shoplifter cos it takes me so long to decide what to spend my precious blinkies on and i feel so pressured when they are standing behind me and persistantly asking if i need any help.

Does anyone else ever find that?

I had exactly the same thing today happen to me at my local. Its so annoying:mad: ,it just makes me take longer to decide what i want!!

I hate it when SAs do this! I used to be a SA (for a different store) and went on to be a supervisor, and was asked if I wanted to be a manager! (turned it down, I did not ever want a full time "proper" job in retail!)

I get really snobby when I feel I am being treated like this- I cause problems deliberatly- things fall from shelves......
