i am getting seriously cheesed off with .com. I've logged in, logged out, cleared my cookies, logged in n logged out and no matter what i flamin' do i can have anything from 7 to 23 items in my trolley that i have manually removed at least 7 or 8 times now! I wonder how much money mr B is losing because of the gremlins in the system because there is no psible way i can place a dotcom order like this.

I did 1 very quick shop in boots today. I bought the No7 toner for dry/normal skin £7.36 and got a couple of handwashes for the bathroom to take it up to a £5 spend so i could get another blinkie...but the chap who served me said he didn;t have one in his till...so i handed him my blinkie to part pay for my goods and i said, 'oh well i wouldn't really like to miss out on one so shall i ask at another counter?' ....he then said he would open another till to look for one and found one...but he wouldn't have done that if i hadn;t pushed for it.

I asked him to scan a 250 voucher and it wouldn't scan as he kept trying to scan the ROI 350 point side of it....i kept telling him that it was the other side he needed to scan but he took his time in turning it over to scan the other side and i thought at one point he was going to say he couldn't or wouldn;t be able to do it.

It wasn't the magic 500 voucher when he finally got it to work but at least i got 250 points out of it!

There were no pantenne sachets and in fact the space where they used to be has been filled up with other products....i bet they put them back when the promotion on pantenne has ended tho'

    That poor delivery driver :D

Kind of them to let you keep it  did you get any extrapoints for the inconvenience of it all, having to dispose of them etc, If not I would ask as they seem to give points willynilly

I was getting the generic error note earlier, then i got an email from boots saying they had reset my password to ******* and asked me to log in and change it to one i wanted.
    Anyone else had that?

    Site worked ok after that.

Also had problem with my boots delivery earlier in that something extra totally unrelated to boots was in one of the boxes. It weighed 8kg and the poor delivery driver had struggled to deliver it amongs my glut of slim fasts :o Anyway, hubby phoned up Boots for me to ask the driver to come and collect the surprise "gift" and they told him to keep it. He told them to email me to confirm that but havent received that email yet, just the email asking me to change my password.

    Very weird

Ooops, reading backwards... already answered.... sowie. x

Ooooooooooo, a freebie... just out of curiosity? what was it? lol
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.
  • Likewise I am clearing cookies, logging in and off, turning the laptop, everything short of crying but still nothing. Cant believe the sale could start tommorow and I cant even log in.

Definately calling them tommorow, also my basket looks like it has 900 items in there at a cost of £9.79, the 900 items could be right as I wanted the bike, the two different roary race tracks and a couple of cheaper sets and had put quantities of 99 in to see how many were there and hadn't deleted them, but I dont know what the £9.79 is.

Can you place any order as a guest then if the sale goes live soon at least you'll not miss out
WARNING any bonus points will not take but customer services will add them manually ( had to get this done 5 times in the last two weeks :D )

Well I kept mouthing at hubby to ask them that lol (I cant use the phone). I was waiting for them to email me to confirm about keeping them (as he had asked them to) and then ask.
Have now emailed them and will see if I get a reply tomorrow (or should that be today :D )
  • I've just been keeping the laptop beside the bed and settng my alarm for 3am & 5am. Open the laptop refresh home page and when I see 50% off sale close laptop and go back to sleep.

I'm sure that another poster on here said recently that the home page doesn't update as soon as the sale goes live, it's the prices on the site that update. Wouldn't want you to miss out!!
