Oops...when I was posting couple of days ago about BROUGHTON not having any sales stuff left, I forgot to mention that there were at least
TEN PURPLE OLAY GWP GIFT BOXES all on top of their Olay counter. At the time though, the SA was guarding them and holding some of the Definity stuff, lol, so I left it.

I had managed to get one from Chester last week and my daughter pocketed the lot bar the box, which will be handy for use as a generic giftbox/hamper item and the voucher...speaking of which did I read that the Olay Definity Eye stuff is down to £15 in Boots now, making it a tenner with the voucher? Or did I dream that bit. :rotfl:

Has anybody been in Wrexham in the past 2 days and know if there is anything worth driving there from Chester for?

I am popping back into Chester main store tomorrow on my way to a meeting so will report back what, if anything, is left there.

Am glad to read that those of you who stayed up are mostly getting your orders sent and ((hugs)) to those who CS are denying. Maybe they have a cut off time when they reckon the site actually crashed or something...

What is goin to happen to all the stock in the 'online warehouse' its all sitting there doing nothing! Will they ship it out 2 stores? I bet it'll all go to one store and most'v us will see nothing! I can't believe how empty all stores are I've been 2, NOTHING left! Grrr!

I worked out how to get past her. Grab a load of olay and gwp, she tries to take you to the till, say no thanks as i've got a total spend voucher from acm and have more to get downstairs, she then says generally...oh come back up after you get your things and i'll put it through for you (whilst trying to remove bits from your basket the moo moo!) and so tell her that your be ok thank you but want to use back exit downstairs as are meeting someone in costas. Then go downstairs, dump olay, pay at photo counter or pharmacy(amazing sa with blonde/brown bobbed hair is best!)and then leg it!

I had to pop to the supermarket today, and found myself taking a slight detour to Boots first

The Maidstone Chequers branch has very little left now. There were still quite a few St Tropez sets, brunette and blonde John Frieda sets, some mugs with cuddly dogs in, some metal buckets with sweets and toy Santas in, a few wine and mince pie sets, a couple of pink pig keyrings, some large green cup and saucer sets, hot chocolate mug sets, 'Gnasher' mouse and mousemat sets, gingerbread house kits and some cards, wrap and crackers.

I just bought a few Pantene sachets (almost a whole box full still there), the L'Oreal Excell 10 hair dye (currently at £4.82 instead of £7.82) and a couple of full price bits I needed. Earned a couple of blinkies by putting the transactions through in two lots and treated myself to some curling tongs with my points



Oh, nearly forgot to mention - they still have some 'Admit It' sets as free gift with £12 S&G purchase

How did u manage to get the 250pts to scan? Was it entered manually by the SA? This coz my 250pts would not scan on clearence items when I tried on wed...

I'm sure a lot of the stuff in the warehouse is going out for those orders that they are fulfulling, fwiw. And if they go back and fill canceled orders that may take most of the stock. It would be nice if they put the sale back online, but in a way they'd be a bit daft to do that given how hopelessly inadequate their system is. But that's never stopped them before, lol. But I feel your pain; I certainly expected to find more goodies in stores than were there.
