Couple of pallets of Mediterranian gift sets @ £2.50
Received email to say my order despatched for delivery monday, so pleased because I use items to raise money for local youth organisation and people are always grateful to receive a decent value prize.
Hope everyone that has had orders cancelled gets email for priority to the .com sale when it starts xxx
You weren't in the other Beckton Boots earlier today, were you? About 2:30pm ish?Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Thanks to all the girls in the Cross Stitch Cafe! You're all fantastic! :A0 -
No Ruth only went to Beckton because im trying to make baby basket up and needed 'cheap' bits n bobs but they only had the pack of 2 pram blankets for £2.
Did they have much left in the sale?0 -
To any of you who have snaffled a £0.00-scanning GWP:
If you put it through the SS till without buying the qualifyng item, then go to an SA to claim your blinkie - has the SA ever questioned your purchase? I assume you'd have to show them your receipt?
Didn't question me. I did wave the receipt in front of her, she didn't study it carefully. I did queue at the normal tills to ask though, didn't ask the SA hanging around the SS tills.0 -
Has anyone been to the Redditch store today? I'm thinking of going there tomorrow but wonder what their stock of sales items is like or will I be wasting my time? Thanks in anticipation.0

There are purple Olay GWPs in Sheffield Boots upstairs, on the racks where you queue for the till. Only saw them when I was looking for sale stuff yesterday, had travelled all the way to Meadowhall to get one last week. Was tempted to pick one up as they are nowhere near any Olay Definity products, it's almost as if they want you to just pick one up on the way to the till.0

Only a tiny bit, but lots of wrapping paper. Might stay until the 90% sale starts. They had some silvery big Elle boxes, a few Dalek hot water bottle/PJ covers, some golf bits, bach rescue stuff in a yellow box, wireless speakers for bathrooms and some mulled wine kits. A woman next to me was saying about the S&G bags in the outlet store, which made me think I might have been speaking to you. Have you looked in either of the Romford stores? Will drag myself there if it's worthwhile, but would rather stay in bed feeling sorry for myself...lol.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Did it go through without the till beeping? I tried to use mine the other day and the SA insisted it could only be used on the Spa range that is mainly white with the blue writing which not many stores stock. I pointed out that it doesnt state that on the voucher but she was adamant so I (huffily  ) told her not to bother I would leave it.
The confusion with these vouchers really annoys me as it seems to be different rules depending on the SA's interpretation of them. It can be very embarrassing at the tills and I think that if Mr B is going to include these vouchers in the sets he sells then he should make sure they work ok.
Hi SA (No7) said to pick up a few things off shelf and she would scan them. Only picked up a couple of the cheapest things which happened to be footcare stuff and they beeped. SA said it was because they were footcare and it was her that turned over the voucher and showed me the items on the back. So I grabbed a couple of the next cheapish things which were shower gels priced at £5.33 before the £3 off voucher. HTHYour fooling no one bar yourself.0 -
Just did my first proper Bootsing trip!
Got 2 No17 eyeliners, on BOGOF, picked up a L'Oreal lipliner so I could legtimately pick up the L'Oreal GWP (have an SA stationed by them - although luckily she kept wandering off to chat up the other male SAs!). Bought the No7 4in1 wipes with a blinkie & some other bits and bobs. Dumped the lipliner and checked out, no problems.
Went to an SA afterwards to ask for my new blinkie, and she took my receipt and stared at it for ages - was convinced she was going to tell me off for picking up the GWP, but in the end she gave me the voucher, no hassle.
I was stupidly nervous about the whole thing, but I think a bit of adrenaline is healthy!0 -
there doesn't seem to be any logic in the way orders are being dealt with. my order went through weds 4.25am was a bit slow to process payment but not overly slow. I had a confirmation e mail first thing thurs morning and order history changed to processed thurs pm. my order was delivered this pm (due to be delivered on monday). I had to put everything in my basket manually as I got the generic error but had no S&G or P&P and obviously had things noone else wanted! I hope everyone whose orders say procesing will get their order and everyone else manages to order at 75%.saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
