I think Mr B has done very well on this sale... .com not working apparently due to technical problems which would have made quite a few ppl go to stores for items wanted/needed... nearly all stock has been sold off so little chance of further reductions... also with no dates on when the sale was due to start it created the hype which, I felt, brought masses of ppl onto stores/ or trying to order online which again meant their stock would fly off the shelves extremely quickly... so all in all quite profitable Mr B...

Also on the subject of Bootsing has n e 1 seen n e other GWP then Olay in Leicestershire/Coventry area, especially the Rimmell/Loreal ones? TIA

Was there much in the Merthyr stores for the sale? Yes, I did know there were two thanks. Only normally go to the retail park. Nice to know there is another local Bootser out there.

I've just had my order cancelled. Not a happy bunny at all as it was toys for my kids and also my niece and nephew. :-(

Oh, forgot to add, my local small Boots still had a number of the £45 St Tropez sets today.

I was going to order one of those but when I had to redo my basket at 3.30 in the morning I put the wrong one in and have ended up with something in the same range for £10 (at 75% off)!!

I'm glad its not just me, then!! I thought the Basket Fairy was playing tricks on me!! :rotfl:

I have some non-sale items in my basket (some Slimfast shakes on the 342) & every time I log on, the quantity has jumped up! At one point, it was showing 52 in my basket!! And I swear I am not touching a thing!! I keep reducing the number to 3 & updating the basket, then then next time I log on, its gone up again!! And even when they show mad numbers in the basket, the 342 discount only shows one pack (£7.** off)

Also, quite often the total order value doesn't reflect the number ordered & even doesn't change when you press to update your basket, so I thought at one point that it was going to let me order 52 packs for the cost of two, but right at the last moment, when you put your card details in, the increase kicks in! So no bargains to be had!! But a wierd glitch, all the same!!

I'm still checking my basket at intervals, just incase the sale re-starts, but I think its probably not going to happen this year! Unless they start the 90% off sale early, to repay us for the inconvenience - that would be some compensation.

Perhaps we should all ring Boots CS & suggest this!!
