The slow drip from my saved on-line basket has started, who on earth is buying at 50% now?
Edit: somebody has got 'my' sewing box now!!! none left instore here, even at 50%, so boo hiss to them  .I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
i have never been given a promotional voucher when buying baby milk. Also you do not receive advantage points when buying it and you are not allowed to buy it using your points. The same goes for supermarkets and their bonus point schemes. Not sure why but it may be that some people on certain benefits get vouchers for free baby milk and therefore not actually parting with any money and therefore not entilted to points.
It is IILEGAL for shops or manufacturers to offer any sort of promotion, discount or offer on infant formula for babies 0-6months. This is because breastfeeding should be encouraged and formula not actively promoted. HTH:A boots tart and tesco chick:A0 -
Thanks everso - in the 3 Boots I went in they all had tags attached stating free with purchase of Olay Regenerist Moisturiser. Looks like I missed out.
Thanks again!
The ones I saw had this too. Did anyone whos managed to get one for free confirm if theirs said this too? TIA!:heart2:Stupid, unreliable vampire.:heart2:0 -

I think the reason you don't get points is for the same reason as they doint give them on cigarettes - it is seen as an encouragement and reward to buy and as breast feeding is considered best, you are not therefore encouraged to formula feed!
Yeah, i never knew the reason for it-was told once it was because the manufacturers dont want boots profiting from their sale (or something like that but i dont know how true that was!), ie encouraging and rewards as you say. But your breast feeding theory sounds more likely, as my friend has been 'frowned upon' for choosing to bottle feed her ds too0 -

They do have that on the tag, but they scan through as free even if you do not buy the moisturiser, at leat they still were yesterday.
However the assisant might notice and query it, some people have been buying a pack of Olay cleansing wipes to make it less noticeable. I used a self service till, so I managed to just scan it for free0 -
Holy cow, it's snowing! Just sent poor hubby out in it for my RX at Boots, but it wasn't snowing then! I'm held captive here for my boots delivery (turns out I'm the lucky one!).0

No not had chance to use mine yet. Is there anything under a fiver tho, cos it does say that its to be used on cosmetics so wasnt sure whether it would work on the make up sponges for instance, or brushes. Would be great if it would tho!!!:D0 -
