I forgot to say that I think that the Watford branch have removed the bar codes from the olay GWP's ( to stop us getting them without purchase)as I picked one up yesterday to try to get with my big sales purchase but I got caught as there wasn't a barcode! I pretended I had just found it on a sales shelf!!!!!!
It was worth trying but I'll have to be quicker next time before they get wise!

hi, if anyone has got any sanctuary sets in the sale then you might want to take off the cardboard label if you're giving it as a gift.

there is a promo to win a spa day on the back of the cardboard tag but it says it ends on 31st jan 09 so might want to take it off (as well as checking inside for vouchers that might be out of date by the time you give it to someone!)
  • Has anyone got any free GWP they don't need? I have searched & can't find any the last 2 days, not bothered really which they are but can gladly send postage & the few Boots coupons I have in return. Thank you so much, feel like I'm missing out on these LOL

    Desperate Plea:

Does anybody have an FCUK overnight bag that was OOTW that they don't want or need? and would be willing to sell it to me could you pm me please. Nan wants one for my cousin for her birthday.

    TIA

    Ikkle x

Ikkle, I have a spare one (the person I'd bought it for only went and bought it for herself  ) that I'd be happy to sell you, but I think it would be awfully heavy (and expensive) to post  I'm off to bed now, but PM me if you're interested and I'll pick the PM up tomorrow morning :)

  • Wow, it's taken me forever to catch up, and I ended up missing a loads of pages from Tuesday evening... Had a good shop at Telford on Wednesday - Hi  to fellow Telford bootsers - chocolatefudge, bootsaholic and BettiePage - so which of you were waiting outside at 8.45 as the SA's all came out with loads of bags???

Hi there Vickster!! Wasnt me outside Telford yesterday - but I was at Shrewsbury town centre boots by 8.45!!! Had a great time glad you did too. Went to Telford this morning myself, didnt have long but managed to do all three in about an hour. Lady in town centre branch said everyone was coming in with their trolleys from Asda yesterday!! Shrewsbury was busy but really good atmosphere. You did very well on your No 7 today - didnt think to look at that doh!
  • Hi, can anyone clarify this one for me.

I am considering buying a few items from no 7 whilst the 3 4 2 is on but i have a few blinkies as well and i'm trying to establish whether i'm better off not doing the 3 4 2 and buying each item separately using a blinkie or whether i am better of doing the 3 4 2 and using 1 blinkie?

when the 3 4 2 goes through - does it deduct the cheapest item? i always thought that this was the case where 3 4 2 is concerned but when i made some purchases at christmas from boots (gift sets etc) i was trying to organise them together so that similar priced items went through together but the SA said it didn't matter as the till works out the best combination for you anyway but i wonder whether anyone does actually know?

    thanks
  • Evening everyone,

Spent the last 2 hours catching up on everyone's 'sale' experiences. After some orders were cancelled, I decided to phone my bank and check that my payment had been taken for my three orders. I have duplicated alot of my orders as the site kept crashing so if they all appear I will offer the excess stuff on here before I take it back to store.

Hope everyone gets something nice from the sale!!!

With the No7 3 for 2 the till will always deduct the cheapest one. I suppose you need to decide which is the better option for you:
    1. buying them all seperately and using a blinkie for each - would almost definitely cost you less ££££££
    or
    2. buy them on 3 for 2 using 1 blinkie - you would earn another blinkie back and more points + possible total spend points from the ACM.

EDIT - sorry, I was assuming you were only buying 3 items. As Couttsey says below the till does work out the 3 for 2's in your favour :)
