Did you not manage to get anything from the stores? thought you were going into leeds. just read your earlier post that saidd about the gift sets all going.

Last year the leeds store had sales assistants shopping before they even let the public in. they were pulling a couple of baskets round before anyone else got a look in.

I think boots are just trying to screw the public at the moment.

I am spending my points incase they go under.

What happens if you order some things off .com that are sale items but coming up full price, would you be able to take them to the shop and get refund and then buy them back, or is this a silly idea.

Thank you, doesn't sounds too hopeful that it will go back online. Am disappointed as all the items bar one or two are showing in stock on the site but at full price.

Was passing LEEDS city centre store today so popped in on the off chance. As Mimi said earlier, lots of reduced No.7 items.... (skincare, suncare, tanning, eyeshadow, nail polish) priced from £1. Two stands near tills at Shopping Mall end & odd bits scattered around the No.7 counter.

Wandered over to Sale area just as they brought out afew totes of stock.
Think it was returns/damaged packaging as some items had no price stickers on & were taped up. Hardly any of it made it onto the shelves...the locusts appeared from nowhere.

Met a nice Halifax Bootser & her oh so patient son & did a blinkie swap.

    No Pantane sachets.

I would like to thank everyone that contributes to this thread & the Grabbit board in general for the HUGE difference Bootsing & MSEing has made to my life. I've just managed to buy a much needed FridgeFreezer & Microwave with the money i've saved since discovering this site before Xmas:beer:

Hello everyone, Just like to say thank you for all your info on boots . I have been lurking for a while and have finally registered. I managed to get quite a few bargains in the 75% sale and even told my 72 year old mother about the sale and she got all her gifts for birthdays and next christmas. She was very happy. So thanks again everyone :j

a few years ago i thought only posh people with money bought and wore the no7 range i only had a few bits of the 17 and the NC cheap range, now my bedroom has a draw full of clinique and no7. it hasn't cost me a bomb either pinkies, spits blueys, blinkys, donkeys etc free points for this that and them over there lol. I have given so much away its ridiculous but looking at it now does it mean i am posh and have money? - oh how wrong was i to judge the powers of mr.b back then !!

i imagine that fragrance vouchers will be back after these as there are alot of perfumes bulging in the cupboards. I was told that the perfume gifts sets won't be reduced until after mothers day ( can see someone rifling their diary for the dates...........lolol)

I used to think the same:rotfl:I always bought make up from market stalls before I became a bootser:eek:
