i just got an email to say my order has been cancelled...........how bizarre seen as i never got any further than the basket so couldn't place one!
went in to southend boots today all the christmas stuff is rubbish! bought a twinkle lip gloss for £2.** and eyeliner with smudge brush thing (!) £1.70.....used blinkie and 250 points coupon is no 7 clearance 3 for 2 if it is I've missed out!!! only just thought about it. also got a venus razor with 2 refills for £2 and 17 clear mascara and black nail varnish BOGOF and used 100 points coupon......bizarrely I now have 4 blinkies when I went out with 2?!

I phoned customer services to see if I could pay for my pending order and was told that I could pay full price but they would not then refund them back to 75%.

The order will not go through as payment did not go on the order, despite being given an order number and delivery date

I got a few items yesterday in store but not those that I really wanted and the cs advisor was not sure if any more items would be sent to the stores, most of which are now short on sale stock.

I understand from my neighbour that there is still a load of stuff left at Lakeside, and they are still bringing stuff out of the stockrooms, to replenish the shelves, as soon as they are empty.

When I asked her what she could remember seeing, she said "Lots of gift sets and vanity case thingies" but was vague as to their colour.

If anyone is thinking of making a special journey, it might be an idea to telephone first.

I went yesterday morning and got the very last (Yippee!) Perfect & correct malarky reduced to £12.33 from £50.00, paid with my points so all free. I also got a load of king of shaves stuff for the boy, £2.00 each set. You cant even get the shaving gel for that, got a few Johhn Freida sets and some other bits and pieces, all in all saved about £100.00 so very happy J x

Cannock Boot's today had nothing hardly left a few gingerbread houses card's and wrapping paper a few set's S/A said won't be any need to do the 90% sale nothing worth putting in it

That is what happened to me , showing pending with delievery date etc but was told by Cs ,boots cancelled order as payment details didnt go on order , even tho at the time of crash site i had put in my card details :rolleyes:

Wonder how many ppl will get a surprise delievery next week :rotfl:

just got back from a great little shop:)
Managed to get 2x limited edition twinkle lip glosses that were reduced to £4.43, but free with my blinkies.
Picked up some nails in nail polish reduced to £1.20.
Also got 3 x vitamin C with probiotic (342) and used £2.50 off health care mailing, plus i used a £2.50 off voucher that i got in a sample. both worked yay! so payed £6.72 for £17.67 worth of vitamins, and got a blinkie back:)

My order is showing as dispatched, but expected delivery date to my local Boots store is 20/01. Does it normally take 5 days to arrive in store or could I expect it sooner ? (Am getting quite excited about it so am desperate for it to arrive).

I am assuming the distribution place is in Nottingham, and so is the Boots store I want it delivered to - so they could walk it in less than an hour !
