My DH brought me some P&P hand cream as part of my birthday pressies(after major hints and i even put the 250 points voucher and blinkie in his wallet too!)

At the till he asked SA if he could use his Blinkie :eek: SA just looked at him as if he had lost it:rotfl: so after some embarrassing confusion & trying to explain he took his blinkie out to show her what he meant

He genuinely thought that is what they are called as i keep showing him what i brought and how much i has saved with my blinkies etc. He didnt know its just what MSE'rs call it :rotfl: Wish i had been there bless him.

Another great bargain (just remembered) are the 2009 self laminating calendars priced at £6.99 but go through for 41p and the self laminating cards that are priced at ?4.99 but go through for 30P :j .

yes, it's the ones marked as £2.99 - no other discount on the shelves/books so was expecting it to be 75p but they were scanning at 75p and then taking another 25% off. Only realised when I got home - would have got a couple more if I'd known!

Just went into our local boots (dinky one) hardly surprising that there was nothing left. However they did have some No7 stuff reduced. Managed to pick up some day cream, powder and nail polish for the princely sum of 4 quid. will probably end up in my hamper stash.

Anyone been to Maidenhead this morning ?

Was in there yesterday and it was heaving ! Managed to get loads with my £70 worth of points, was very pleased. However still want a couple of things and was wondering they have restocked today ?

Debating whether to make the extra effort and go to Marlow. Boots is relatively small there but you never know, it may still have stock. Has anyone been to Marlow ?

loads of empty shelves at Maidenhead!...went yesterday and loads of poeple were in there before store officially open ,not great stuff.suppose depends what you're after..most toys and branded sets have gone.hope this helps.;)
