  • I don't want anything from dot com, but if I get up in the night, to answer a call of nature, will have a look, and If It's Started, will post - in the biggest letters available!!

Signs? As in "printed Boots professional" signs? Not hand written notes?......

Regarding the Pantene sachets, someone said they're 12p in Sainsburys. Though we think we're technically getting them free and being paid 3p for the privilege - are we?

We've parted with our money to buy them, and accumulated points. Which we can use on something else. If it was something we wanted, that's fine, but if we are only getting the something, cos we've got the points ...... see where I'm going? I'd have carried on having a happy and interesting life, without Pantene sachets, if I hadn't heard of the glitch.

Could it be a deliberately planted glitch cos Mr B has a surplass of these in his warehouse? And we've all fallen for it? Like the GWPs, that we are disguising with other things? The only good glitch is the accidental glitch, like the Pinkie/Till spit/R & M mirror one.

You've won again Mr B!!

I agree Sandra, Mr B has more of our cash and has cleared an overstock of pantene sachets, :T
( I noticed some of those I picked up said, "winter rescue', or something similar!).
I bought them as I realized I could buy phone top ups with my points, so they were a little add on.
However, everything Mr B entices us with,....every offer,..... every extra points coupon,......every sale, IF IT COMES!!!,
is geared towards parting us....from our cash!

Having said that, since I no longer buy general household stuff ( toothpaste, shower gels etc) in supermarkets, I am making the most of extra points/ glitches/ freebies etc, which has been helpful and fun too, trying to maximise the total gain, without over spending. But every little extra is a bonus, like your " cheer up gifts ", so I always have a last minute gift tucked away if needed, plus we get to post here and help others do the same. :)

But think of all the extra bags you can hang off a buggy :D
  • I had dreaded error message. Started to panic, I couldn't get into my account for a while. Logged out and back in again, this time told me my password was incorrect. It wasn't. Refused to let me in. Decided to click on forgotten password link (although I knew I hadn't!). Boots sent me a new password. I managed to log in. Changed my password back to what it was and now it's ok again. However, still no 75% sale! LOL... got to or else I might cry!

I will swap you one manic son for two 17 month old twins who have to be frisked before we leave boots as from the double buggy they can both reach each side of each isle!!! :D Oh well, at least the security guards know me - and hopefully knows that if I find something after leaving the shop I will return it asap:cool:

Think I will start tieing their hands up with duct tape!!
  • Sorry I know this is completetly off topic but does anyone know if you can buy cigarettes with love 2 shop high street vouchers? I know you can spend them in Threshers so thought maybe you could in there? A bit desperate for an answer so forgive me for being off topic!
