Finally got an admit it you want me set free with £12 spend after reading you all raving about it. Does anyone know if Aberdeen bon accord has a reduced section because if so I've never found it and I love reading about what you all get in the bargain bins?

Ive seen some bargains bits beside the big tills downstairs before and some beside the hair dyes. Bridge of Dee tends to keep theirs in the same place all the time but the Bon Accord doesnt seem to have much and when they do its never in the same place twice!!!

Nice to see a fellow Aberdonian on here!!!!

I thought it was scanning on "pink" items (as opposed to the green and blue ones), but it didn't scan on my 'mist you' this morning - didn't hear it beep though, so I assumed it had gone through until I checked my receipt

I have another £2 voucher, so will try again with just one item and voucher rather than a big shop and loadsa vouchers this time!

I just popped over to eldon square, still have masses of stock - not many toys though. Looks like they massively over stocked on those big No 7 make up kits - are all over the place stacked high! Lots of other no 7 kits too.

Just thought I would mention to people to check what time their store opens tomorrow.

I assumed (wrongly) that my local opens at 9am - I was wrong it actually opens at 8.45 and some Boots open earlier.

I would have been gutted it I had got to my store at 9am and had missed some bargains!
  • Hi

How is it possible to keep things in your basket for so long?
are you logged into boots.com when you do it and do you have to use a particular browser? [i use opera, ie and firefox, so I can use whichever is best]

also, can anyone tell me what is the significance of the electronic coin sorter that people are asking about? is it just a product that people want or are they needing it for a points/glitch transaction?

I have no clue how all you hardcore bootsters keep up with all this.

I just add items to my basket (whilst logged in) and its there (or has been for last 2 weeks :o ) whenever i log back in. I have also added the items i really want to my faveroites too just incase my basket gets wiped just as the sale starts or somthing  Will save time if i have to add it all back to my basket.

With ref to the coin sorter i think it is just a few people really want one (my son has one and is quite good). No glitch or anything.

    *snip*

He says that some stores will therefore recieve lines they never stocked before

He says most stores will not get to unpack cages till later in the day and so it is worth an extra visit to stores in the afternoon

    HTH Someone x

Sooo it seems like there may be some goodies available later in the day- this is bound to vary between stores though.
