Sorry to quote myself :o but has anyone else ever been in a similar situation?

    Scarlett,

I don't know if someone answered - haven't got to the bottom of the board yet ;) but I've taken things back to Boots I've had a reaction to and swapped them for another product of the same value without a receipt. Last time it was Time Delay wipes, I wanted to exchange the 2 sealed packets, but they even exchanged the open packet too, for Sanctuary wipes no problem.

My eyes don't like that eye make up remover either I've discovered

You could take back the No7 minerals foundation get a refund then buy again with your blinky thats what i would do. Also if you have any reductions on the No7 in your store it could be better value to pick up another 2 No7 reduced items as they are 342 then use blinky.

2nd thoughts as your overdue with baby i'd send hubby to get refund.

Good luck with the baby hope it comes soon for you .

I don't think they're supposed to refund on cosmetics do they, unless they're faulty? In that case then, shopping_mad, if I were you I would try to do what diane1975 has suggested above, but go yourself and start panting and looking pained if they say no ;)

Thank you for your reply Yorkielass :) That's good to hear. It's odd...... I've used it before in the past with no reaction but now..... I don't know, maybe my eyes have got more picky or Boots have changed the formula

I have a question? how do you know how many of an item is in stock?
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

To me, it's a crap glitch. 3 points profit - what's the point.

However, if you spend the points you've earned and then return them cos you've "changed your mind" (per the back of the receipt) then you'll be in proper points profit! ;)

    How is it c**p?
    It is brill...

Say I want to buy £5.80 pack of huggies or whatever they charge now...

    I buy 6 x pantene = 5.82 gain 624pts and a blinkie
Buy huggies using points, leaving 44pts

So for the pleasure of changing my pounds into points and spending them on what I originally wanted to shop for I've gained a few points and blinkie...but a load of technically free pantene also.

Ok...I never wanted the pantene, but they are a bonus!

ETA: If you were to return them, using the reciept, they scan the return barcode at the bottom and it will take the points off your AC. You can work around this by not having you AC...but that's hardly cricket :)

    Hi

How is it possible to keep things in your basket for so long?
are you logged into boots.com when you do it and do you have to use a particular browser? [i use opera, ie and firefox, so I can use whichever is best]

also, can anyone tell me what is the significance of the electronic coin sorter that people are asking about? is it just a product that people want or are they needing it for a points/glitch transaction?

I have no clue how all you hardcore bootsters keep up with all this.
