Think I will start tieing their hands up with duct tape!!

Hiya-
Just called my Nan (as she was in town) to check the status of the town centre Boots and she told me they are taking all the Xmas stock off the shelves

Well Ive done it! I have gone and booked tomorrow off work!! Have s*d all money and only about 900 points but cant resist the temptation! Just wanted to ask, if I get there first thing, are the items likely to be marked up by then or should I just pick what I want and check the prices at the till? Have not managed to get into store actually on the day of the sale before.
Woo hoo all excited now! Wondering whether to take my mum along or will she just slow me down lol!:rolleyes:0 -
How is it c**p?
It is brill...
Regardless, in your example:-
"Say I want to buy £5.80 pack of huggies or whatever they charge now...
I buy 6 x pantene = 5.82 gain 624pts and a blinkie
Buy huggies using points, leaving 44pts
Ok...I never wanted the pantene, but they are a bonus!"
If you'd just bought the Huggies with cash, you'd still have got about 20 normal AC points on them and you'd still have got a blinky. And you say you never wanted the pantene anyway.
So you're 20-odd points up. Better than a kick in the la-las but crap compared to some of Mr B's offers.ETA: If you were to return them, using the reciept, they scan the return barcode at the bottom and it will take the points off your AC. You can work around this by not having you AC...but that's hardly cricketThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. Just to confirm that ANY Herbal Essence is 100 points. I was lucky to find some old style at 44p a bottle so I'm ok for a wee while!
They were on the shelf next to the new ones but on SEL clearance.0 -
Hi
New to Boots so Im sure most of you know this but for any other newbies
Today I went into my local boots and bought my lunch reduced, a shapers wrap 75p a bag of fruit 10p and a fresh orange 30p and this went on my card as a meal deal - meaning only 1 more and I get one free.
The Boots I go to is quite small (orpington kent- anyoned else) and yesterday morning went in no toys today I went in and toys have appeared not many but some are in the sale.
There are quite a few mens gifts which is most amazing, Hid a p&p (£50) yesterday and it is still in the same place hope it doesnt get discovered before i go in tomorrow - bit naughty really!!!
Sorry nearly forgot - just logged on to my account and at the top it says- Sorry - there is limited availability of some items at the moment.

Thanks, but it doesn't sound like a good swap to me.
I will now skip into boots with my son, thinking how lucky I am to just have one to bribe with raisons/crisps/sweets/juice, in my little single buggy. Good luck to you, think you might need it!!:Dnow has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it0 -
