Hi Scarlet.1974, I had to take back a No7 skincare product last week, after a bad skin reaction.
I had lost my receipt, so was doubtful about getting a refund.
However the SA explained to me that any product that gives you an adverse reaction, will be refunded,
(with/ or without receipt if its a boots own brand). So I was given the money in cash, in full, then
went off and picked up my usual product.
People here have also said that they have called customer services first (and been given a reference number),
before going in to store, which has made things easier. HTH. :)

    Hi jazzteddy :)

Thank you for that, I really appreciate it :) I'm not too bothered about a cash refund, I'd be happy with a credit gift-card (so I, like you, could then go and get my usual one - Botanics - which is a fraction of the price of the No7 one and has never given me any sort of reaction  ). I might call CS today if I get chance, but I'll definitely be taking them all back in tomorrow..... I suppose I should go to the No7 SA really

will have to go in tomorrow after dropping my youngest off at nursery, anyone know if the coventry precinct store will be worth a visit?
I popped in the ricoh branch and it was virtually empty unless you wanted to stock up on garden twine?
    TIA

    Garden twine? :rotfl:

Plenty left in the Precinct yesterday :D Er..... (trying to remember) Sanctury sets, some Accessorize stuff, No7 make-up, various R&M items, John Freida hair sets and plenty of crackers & wrapping paper too :)

Had a reasonable amount of stock in last Thursday, but not sure now.

Nuneaton is pretty empty too, may pop up to Cannon Park (little) Boots in my lunch hour, see what they have in.

  • anyone else getting the generic application error message?
I had this, from before Xmas, just after my last order-it doesn`t go on its own!!!! After 2 calls to CS, when they said their techie guys were looking into it, nothing happened, so someone had to reregister me yesterday

    Hi jazzteddy :)

Brave words...check that she is smiling sweetly first.
I need to take back a UG haircare mini set (a gift), it was £10.
I wanted the UG xmas haircare gift, but the person who got it for me thought it was the minis,
as the price was the same. I have no receipt, as it was a gift, so am dreading it........you never know
if the SA will be helpful or not.

Ooooh definately worth a trip then!, the garden twine was in a posh gift tin, have to say if i'd received that for xmas i'd have been gutted.

still have my basket ready to go on .com, if they ever decided to go 75%, its like a stand off between us and mr.boots on there!

I was in Sainsburys yesterday and I saw the Pantene sachets - the ones we are paying 97p for just 12p in there.

I know we are getting 100 points back from Boots but methinks Boots maybe has too many Pantene sachets in its warehouse and wants to us to pay way over the top for them even though we are in Boots 'profit' by 3p.
