The St Tropez puff aint that good jamsandwhich but alright for the 75% or 90% price
I got mine in my St Tropez box of tricks when it was OOTW and 342.
The Accesorize hatboxes were good value @ £6.25 agreed. That was a good bargain
My big wish for Wednesday is FCUK premium sets, I missed them on OOTW and have longed for them ever since!!
Thanks for letting me know - am even less bothered about the sale now:rotfl: Will maybe get one on wendesday if I happen to be passing a boots which has one at 75%!!!0 -

jamsandwhich wrote: »There is a tiny boots - used to be a moss chemist - in the little town where I work, they had six party bags on 50% off, I can get you them if you like or wait until wednesday @ 70% but won't be going in until afternoon so may go?
Alternatively, if you have any of the smaller chemists nearby it may be worth checking them out as this one had no7 sets and a few others I can't remember but remember people mentioning they couldn't find!!!
I'm hoping to wait for the 75% off, do you remember how much there were (either RRP or with 50% off)??? Just back from the metro centre:
I did quite a few returns including the short dated slim fast and all the SA's were lovely as anything.
They put the refunded money onto a gift card so that i didnt have to wait for the refund to be credited back to my account in however many moons time.
I managed to bag my self 4 GWP that scan as 0.00, i was very nervous picking these up the shop was so empty as i felt i was being watched, i am slowly starting to get massive paranoia, lol. 2 of them were the pre xmas l'oreal ones in a black box worth £30 - OMG how gorgeous is that lip gloss, and the other is a l'oreal luxury beauty bag, its white and has 3 mini creams in it and a headband, not to fussed about the creams but the bag is nice.
There were loads of these every where in the skincare section downstairs and even on the end of stands, said free gift when you spend £15 on any skincare, wasnt even brand specific. No sign of any other GWP anywhere and i looked very hard.
I picked up some more pantene sachets and some pantene mini's.
There was also a lot of reduced No7 accesories although the shelves are almost bare now, Reduced JK accesories, loads of reduced NO7 both upstairs and downstairs. Not much choice in the sale department - i wouldnt rush there to buy anything. Got myself a No7 nail file for about £1.73 and 2 sets of top and base coat for 93p each.
I managed to get my elusive No7 minerals blusher and oh its gorgeous. Well worth the wait, thanks again to all who offered to get me one. I also managed to get my mum a No7 minerals blusher in the shade she wanted as my local still havent had any stock, so she will be happy.
I was using the self serve tills and would scan a few items then put through the free GWP. I was panicking that i would crash the system especially as DS decided he wanted to play SA in the middle of it all.
I was beginning to panic as the SA started hovering so i quickly hurried up with my shop and paid. Then i realised that i had forgotten to use any of my points coupons. So i walked over to the SA and said, please help me its the 1st time ive used the SS tills and i didnt know when they were gonna ask me to scan my vouchers but before i knew it it was asking me to pay, is there any chance you can add then on manually for me.
She said she shouldn't really but, would do it just this once as long as i showed her my receipt to say that i qualified for the 250pts WYS £25, as soon as she saw this i just kept giving her vouchers, even the odd one that i hadnt bought any products for as i would never buy any from that range and she added them all manually. So thank you nice SA.
All in all i spent about £40 and got back 3250pts, 4 FREE GWP, 2 No7 GWP WYB No7 minerals. Loads of free No7 items when i used my blinkies, 3 blinkies well 4 as my DS who is 6 found a blinkie on the floor and cleverly said ''oh mummy, did you drop this'', ''No i didnt drop it'' i said ''but we dont like litter do we so we best go put it in the machine for recycling '':)
I also got myself a brag book all of them were reduced to £2.49 but i found a tatty one and haggled it down to 99p. So much easier to keep all my vouchers and list in order as i can flick back and forth.
So i guess this means i am now an offical member of the bootsing gang, i have got my brag book and located and ''purchased'' my 1st free GWP as well as managing to use the SS tills without atracting attention and crashing them. Go me.
DH is amazed at what i got today he cant stop saying - so you got that for FREE? Surely that cant be legal, Oh but it is i tell him, to which he scratches his head in amazement. Then turns round and says, do you think you could find a way to get your expensive shoes for free?
I now have well over £100 worth of points on my card all gained since boxing day ready for wednesday morning. I am dropping DS early with a friend and i will be waiting outside at 8.55 as my mum has kindly offered to take me, but i think its cos she wants to see just how i manage it all.
So huge thank you everyone i wouldnt of benn able to do all this if it wasnt gor you all sharing info etc.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
