Told you I was new to this Bootsing lark...

Went in today to get lunch + some shampoo (with extra points, natch), thinking 'huzzah! Not only do I get my first ludicrously-named voucher to go have fun with, but one more Meal Deal after this and I get a free one!' only to find out that the whole thing reset at the beginning of the year and now it only registers the one I bought today (despite the other three I still had on there).

I'm very annoyed with myself that I didn't notice there was a time-restriction on the 6-for-5 Meal Deal offer. Would have gone more often if I'd known.

There's no chance of getting these put back on is there? A little optimism never hurts, right? Especially with sales looming...
  • Evening all, been reading the posts while doing the late feed and got really curious about this photo of mimi??? Didnt realise that you could see pictures next to posts, duh:o. Anyhow, wow you are so photogenic and why on earth would you think your fat? Your not some model/ actor type that only has 5 raisins for breakfast are you? :D
On another slightly boots related topic. I have read some of your posts regarding poor packaging from dot.com. and have recently had an order from mr L****s and must say it was extremely well packed, little bit enviromentally unfriendly but very good nonetheless ,also you can get cash back with paypal and free delivery when you spend over £20, which is quite a low spend in comparison to Mr B. By the way they have some great heart shaped scented candles about the size of your palm in packs of 3 for just £1 , would look great in hampers etc.;)
You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt. (A.C)

What's the best ever deal peeps have got in the 75% sale. And in the 90% sale.

I ended up getting ...err...eight??? of these Accessorize Hat Boxes when they went down to £6.25. Several of my DD's friends were turning eight last year and the hat boxes wenr down a storm. A lot of the mums admitted they were extremely jealous! (I did have to warn the mums to confiscate the candles though.)

Soooo...another question. What's on everyones Wish List for the Wednesday sales? I want another couple of these Elle bags, because there was so much nice stuff in them. And either a National Trust or Country Living gardening holdall.

The Meal Deal 6-4-5 resets at the start of every calendar month, sorry. Has done for a long time.

  • Been so run down over Christmas and now been struck down with a horrible sore throat and aches and pains - I am going on holiday on Sunday and was wondering if anyone can recommend health products that ma actually help soothe my throat and rid me of this in time for my holiday! Also, if anyone can recommend echinacea (brand) I would be very grateful. TIA
Mummy to a beautiful 4 month old princess! x

Valk-scot - Every month?? Bloomin' heck - I'll never get my free one then! But thank you for the info. I'll just get them when there's a voucher worth having then.

Ooooh stop it love, I'm blushing. I'm more 5 packets of crisps in the morning than 5 raisins actually. But I can't keep still, maybe that's why I burn lots of calories.

Please can someone tell me why everyone is getting really excited about the 75% sale? Am I missing something? And what should I be buying? Help!

Wow I never knew I could have an avatar! Now I feel like a real forumer:j

I'm not sure why I'm so excited about the sale, I didn't even realise I wanted anything yet I've somehow ended up with a basket containing £150ish of stuff  Admittedly most of it is shampoo though...!xXx

Hope its not this horrible fluey type vomitting thing I had - the really bad bit only last 48 hours but have felt run down for weeks and horrible chesty cough too - haven't been able to get to the gym. I used beechams flu plus caplets and they seemed to work - was taking two of these and then two nurofen every other two hours.
