right I was so fed up with not knowing when the 75% sale is cos Ive booked a day off on wed, I decided to phone up clayton sq in liverpool, they have just told me its wed, so all you liverpool bootsers get ready:o

Ran like the wind into my local weeny Boots at 9.02, to find ............ nothing happening. No air of excited frenzy, no people elbowing others out of the way so they could grab their bargains.

Bought a Braun hair styler for cousin's birthday, as they are a third off at the mo. My conversation with the SA went like this:

Me: Well, hi! Much milder today isn't it.
SA: I'm cold
Me: Well, yeah, I agree with you, it's quitecold
SA: Buying this are you (pointing to Braun thingy) (no I'm going to eat it!)
Me: Yes, they're a third off at the moment
SA: No they're not
Me: I believe they are (SA scans it)
SA: They're a third off
Me: Isn't that great!
SA: Anything else?
Me: No, I'll (deep breath ........ ) wait for the sale on Wednesday!
SA: What sale?
Me: The 75% sale
SA: (Long silence)
Me: Or is it tomorrow?
SA: What?
Me: Nothing. Thank you so much for your help. Bye!!!!

Im not long back from the Boots Marshall Lake Shirley and theyve got LOADS of stock there about 3 isles of shelves full, spoke to a SA and she hinted about Wednesday but said ' i cant tell you for sure' then she giggled

Afternoon instead of doing the stuff I should have been doing , just got back from a quick boots at Speke - well it was Monday and I needed cheering up

Not that much left in the sale , and worryingly they are taking apart some of the empty sale shelves, so its not looking good for a great choice on Wednesday if that is the 75%off day looks like much better pickings at the Clayton Sq shop according to the last report from Jpop empty shelves that remain are now decorated with a exciting new ranges coming soon signs.

There is some reduced No7 creams left but we have no reduced make up and have not had any there at all.

Did manage to use my £2 off s and g but only because a nice sa did it manually

Got a No7 men's face wash for 1.36 with my blinkie and got to use my 250p voucher from the gwp

R&M buy 2 and get 500 points has now finished I was told .

Took DD 2 with me, and even she was impressed when I presented her with a R & M lip liner hmmm she said you seem to have this off to a fine art - praise indeed from someone who would not normally put a foot in aywhere unless it had designer something in it. - She will learn (hopefully) she is a student and still in shock that her vast access to way way too much credit has run out and her life has crashed to a standstill.

The Queen Street store has a lot of items in the sale but unfortunately there's no Soap and Glory :mad: .

I noticed on Saturday that there's loads of accessorise stuff in the sale. The area was really quiet. Everyone must be waiting for Wednesday!!

Does anyone know if theres a limit on the number of items you can place in one order? Know that M&S limit the amount you can order, can't remember how much though!

DF has said that i need some practice in the car, i cant just randomly drive i need a destination, so i said lets go to the metro centre, i can practice driving, do my returns and hopefully bag myself the new No7 minerals blusher and some GWP's.

SO any hints tips from any metro centre bootsers, ie where to look for clearance GWP's etc, Much appreciated.

I go to the Metro Centre Boots now and again. Last time I went the clearance was downstairs in the photo dept. It was kind of half hidden in the middle near frames and albums and facing the back wall. They might have moved it now though I last went six months ago.

They've got most of the premium beauty counters and a bigger fragrance dept than many Boots so there might be more choice of reduced fragrance giftsets there.

Metro Centre usually has lots of old GWP, upstairs with skincare. There's usually loads to choose from WYS £5 on any skincare.

Hi, I'm still sat here waiting for this 75% sale to start. I can't shop in store. I do all my shopping online. It's getting to a point now where I can't get on with my chores! Like I need an excuse!...
Anyway, I've come up with a conclusion to keep me going, but the more I think about it the more it starts to make sense. See what you think here is my feeling, and it's only a feeling.
I think the 75% sale will start today and here is why:
Okay, The 50% sale started online on Xmas Eve, 2 days before store sale. Today is 2 days before the store sale or so we are led to believe, The online sale didn't start till 2pm. I did receive an email about this sale but not until 2:14pm on that day. I can't remember if I was informed by email of last years 75% sale (can't check, new computer since then) but if I was I'm sure it will have been after the sale had already started. So in my opinion there is a good chance this sale will start this afternoon! Wishful thinking maybe!
I have faith, I have hope, I believe this sale will start today!.... Maybe if we all believe! Now, repeat after me I have faith, I have hope, I believe etc........ LOL

No reductions in belfast big boots on any no7. Stil lots of facial tanner moisturiser upstairs in the reductions i got nivea visage and a neutrogena one for 59p each! Why not at that price!
Loads of random make up reductions but nothing amazing! And the usual tat!
All sale stuff moved downstairs not a huge amount left! We shall see when it goes 75% whats left!
