I seen the same thing in a smaller boots the other day, rows of empty shelves, and all the bits from xmas just crammed on to one tiny shelf....asked the manager as she is quite friendly...and she said it was for the summer stock!!! I.e Suncream and whatnot

Yip ,same as my local one....xmas stuff crammed in a little section and massive selection of sun stuff already put on display:eek: .not holding much hope for them getting more stock to reduce...they only had cr*p left that i wouldnt even buy at 90% off..(well actually i probably would buy it knowing me!!!!:rotfl: )
 Am thinking of a new one:beer:

Your right! Not much in the way of gift sets for us blokes:mad:

The no7 sets are lovely but most stores are sold out, some of the Ted Baker stuff is nice but the majority isn`t worth the money at 50%.

I suppose it all depends on the man and what he uses.

which one did you go to - town centre or retail park? ( EK) I have been trying to stake out the both of them - fear I will soon be arrested for loitering keep trying to find freindly SA that will tell me about the sale.:rotfl:

Hi Amanda, it was in the shopping centre. My niece works in Glasgow city centre and has told me it's Wednesday that the 75% off sale starts. I don't know where to go, fort was brilliant last year but ek was stuffed with goodies. I've never driven on my own yet to ek and don't know if I could handle the crazy roundabouts at rush hour. Good luck anyhoo, hope you get some mega bargains.
  • :T Clever you!!

Oooooh, I'm dying to get the P&P collection but I really can not afford it :( I want to find it in store so I can use my points! I know there were a few people on here looking for it and I've just added it to my basket to check and there's currently 36 sets available. Go, go, GO ;)

There were quite a few at Brentcross last week.
  • No tillspits now at all - these have been knocked on the head since being combined with pinkies last time!!

They may come back on a future promotion if Mr B thinks we have forgotten about them:D

Sorry if I am being really dumb, but I wondered what you meant by a tillspit? I thought that was a survey but that wouldn't make sense, please don't say you mean a blinkie....?

YES you can use a blinke and 250pts coupon on the same tranaction, ive done dozens, my couple of 250pts vouchers went through yesterday at 400 points not 250.

400pts. I thought the 'magic' vouchers had gone back to 250. Were these the ones that end in January (From the gold GWP)

or the ones from the Green parcel Christmas items (That end in March)

Yes, some tills and self serve tills would automatically issue a voucher that looked a bit like a receipt but was just like a blinkie. They had different bar codes so could (potentially) be combined with the ordinary paper vouchers - which is probably why Mr B stopped issuing them! :rotfl:
