:rotfl: My mum asked about her tonight(lives in cyprus), her name is Brenda and yes she is still sitting on the bench at the top of the cobblestones lol

Goodness Guildford is hardly 'big'...ok maybe it is compared to farnham/aldershot etc

Not sure where you are for 75% shopping but guildford i ok sale stock wise...but if you can get to basingstoke for 75 or 90% sale your not be dissapointed as they are heaving with stock atm :)

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
    Hi all,

Just a quick question, someone mentioned earlier about a in store points offer on Urban Retreat, and I nearly fainted  I have an extra points coupon for urban retreat too!! So it would be lotsa points if my store sold it, so does anyone have anymore info on the in store points offer and which stores stock it in the lincolnshire or yorkshire area?

Was gonna swap it if there's no stores near me that do it, but I'm hoping there is now lol ;)

    You have a pm ;)
  • can any1 suggest anything for mother in law for mothers day frm the xmas sale stock online,im so confused!!

Think I probably know the answer but i'll ask anyway.:o If an item purchased as part of the 3 for 2 offer is faulty what happens (it is actually the free item that is faulty)?
Could I get a refund or an exchange or am I just stuck with said item as effectively I haven't paid for it?

Sorry to quote myself but I could do with getting this sorted asap. Cheers. :o

Seen that some lucky peeps have managed to get these half price and on 3 4 2 if any bootsers happen to stumble across one (or more of these) I'd be ever so grateful if you could pick it/them up for me as i've searched in all the boots near me and cannot find it  its being discontinued and is one of my favs and i've tried its replacement (new one with brush aplicator and dont like it) i'd be more than happy to cover the cost and postage with blinkies and/or cash. Hope nobody thinks that i'm being too cheeky :o

    TIA

Your not being cheeky - I have been searching also!!!

I too don't like the new one - think the shading is slightly different? I have one more place to try tomorrow and if I am lucky will let you know;)

I don't think you are stuck with it as just because it was part of an offer/incentive does not entitle a store to pass on not fit for purpose /faulty goods??

I needed to exchange something which was the free item for a different size - I took all three items and receipt in but the sa said to take all back was not necessary -they would have exchanged up to the value of the goods or if you wanted to pay the additional, over the value. HTH

Just take it back with your receipt and you should be fine - unless you get a really horrible sa!!!

I'm sure one of my Christmas Bath Sets described them as Bath Lilies!! Well Dee was glued to my side the whole time, of course! Known her for years, and she was widowed a few years back, and as her family live a distance away, her days could be very lonely. But she finds Bootsing so exciting!

Alas, she cannot calculate the 10% off for over 60s on No 7s, and what will take your spend up to the magic fiver, but what I give in that field, and by providing the 2 for 1 foodie vouchers, she gives back to me in a wonderful, loving and happy friendship. :A

And the best thing is that every single time we go out, we have a Great Laugh! Nobody said you had to hand in your sense of humour when you received your bus pass! :rotfl:

    xx

I think having to work out much you need to spend to get a blinkie when you are over 60 is better than any 'Brain training' game and keeps me young.:rotfl: :rotfl:

Add the total of the reduced no7 items together, whilst working out if they are deducting the 10% off the full price or the reduced price, then add on any other items bought.

But first you have to check what items are classed as 'Boots own' (Not always obvious) and deduct 10% from these also. Add together then deduct the £5 for the blinkie then add other items to the basket to make up to over £5 (making sure that you deduct your 10% again on any of Boots own. All done in the head without a calculator, while walking around and trying to look inconspicious and holding a conversation (if applicable) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: MY OH who is a lot younger than me is amazed how I can do this.

So if any of your ladies see an older bootser, walking around looking very distracted and carefully going through every item in the basket, they may just be counting the pennies Literally.;)
