Golden_Anemone wrote: »Hoping some of you local crafters can help me. I'm in NI and want to source some glass bottles to bottle my sloe gin. I want fairly small ones as I don't have an awful lot of it and several friends / family have asked for some - I was thinking around 200ml each. I've found a few online stockists but before I order from them I wanted to know if there were any local shops where I could buy them more quickly.
Thanks. xx
Try your local pub......just an idea:):money:and very moneysaving!!:rotfl:
You can sterlise glass bottles like Jam jars........you could get small green wine bottles they have screw on lids to.....which can be sterlised too!!
Is it Caledonian flavoured water that has glass bottles and they are a nice shape too......
Instead of bottles now dont laugh....if its for sloe gin why not a hipster flask.....it an unusual way of presenting an alcoholic present and they can be so pretty!!
Failing that, try Heatons, poundland, asda or even on a good day tesco, maybe wisebuys in belfast/lisburn!:jIm going to be frugal:j:DIm going to be frugal:D;)Im going to be frugal;)Beetlejuice Beetlejuice...................:rotfl:0 -
Thanks folks. I love your creativity and positivity mumoffour, if only you could bottle that and sell it you'd make your fortune.
I might even buy some of those small bottles of wine to use. I'd have to drink the wine of course, waste not want not! xx0 -

WEll folks its nearly time to start the new thread for 2010!! Can I suggest that when you hear of any new fairs, you cut and paste the main list and add yours to it, and delete any at the top of the list that have been and gone. That way we work from one list rather than having to scroll through pages of (Very entertaining!!) chitter chatter - teehee!! I'll start the new thread now and can you start to post anything for 2010 that you know of already - in the meantime - anyone else doing Belmont Tower?Feel free to thank me, it makes my toes tingle and my ears go warm :T0
