This isnt too far from me so please let me know when you get details.There's a Victorian Fair Day in Markethill on a Saturday in August each year that always has big crowds, music and craft stalls.
Interesting to read the comments on Slieve Donard. I was exhausted by the time I got home. And not even a cup of tea or bicky provided...at £30 a table it just isnt good enough.
Great to meet other people from here, even though I didnt know who they were when I was talking to them!!
And who smuggled chips in without asking me? My poor husband could have done with some sustenance!
Not having done craft fairs before I didnt know what to expect but there seems to be a lot of people looking..............and thats it. They say how nice it all is but dont buy! Frustrating or what? And the usual problem with too much jewellery....think I might have to branch out!!!!!!!!! Ideas anyone?
Enough moaning . Look forward to catching up at the Argory on Sat!!!!!!!!!!0 -

lol well what can i say about the fairs these days???? RUBBISH
it was nice to meet you all again and for the fisrt time, beadmad i was the one that came over with the traybakes in the Queens green hoody lol wasnt until we were packing up i was told who you where.
Todays fair was pants, for it being put on for the staff not many supported it, although i met some new people today who were lovely to chat to. hopefully downpatrick is a good turn out0 -
Bead mad....I agree......being asked to pay £1.50 for tea and coffee was awful.......I hope that money went to cancer research!!! I didnt meet you:(

Dpk should be good.....its all free and I think there is a creche being put on for youngsters so that parents can SHOP!!!:)

i was up at the boucher road today, the girl running it was bit cross that not more came down i did ok but didn make my millions lol.

There is also santas elves........and I know the company who are doing them.......so funny SO SO funny the kids will have a great time!!
