  • sorry for vague details ....Derryloran Parish Hall Cookstown. 5th Dec. 11am-4pm

    Tables are £15
It's been well advertised locally so should be good.
  • Was at a craft fair in Down country museum on Saturday totally washout. Didn't even cover cost of table, hopefully Downpatrick race course will be good on Saturday. Good luck everyone on your fairs this week, seems we are all pretty busy.

    Awww Harleygirl......thats awful, im sorry.

I was in Dpk on sat taking my son and his 3 friends to the cinema, i didnt even get up to the museum....or as far as it!!!

I went to the craft fair in loughanisland and it was good.....again loads of interest and sold loads of the smaller stuff that i had made......the unfortunate thing was i was put right at the fire exit (although had a table across from it at first but some other stallholder needed electricity!! and I was right beside the plug but hey ho!!) And i was frozen.....really really cold!! tea and coffee was provided which was more than welcome!! And i got invited to other fairs.....mainly at easter and a new one in seaford....which im kinda querying now as the lady asked would i be willing to donate a prize for the raffle on the day......even though there were no tables for the dec fair left.....I just said i would see....the girl on the other table smirked and said that the woman had a brass neck...tee hee:D she will ring me this week....so im looking forward to that conversation!! The Girl guides were lovely.....and had their own raffle for which i bought tickets.....£5 worth......then the young kids of the group were coming up every 10/15 mins asking if i had bought tickets...i said yes then they produced 4/5 different coloured books of tickets and said you havnt got yellow...pink....blue....peach ones it was not a nice thing to do....DS2 said we got some tickets why do they keep going around everyone again and again and again!!! oh then they were coming around with knitted elves and biccies saying do you want to buy this....awwww why not!! i was just embarassed by this!! I felt as if I had to buy something......I think some other stall holders felt the same way as they either walked away from the girls or ignored them!! The leaders of the girl guides were lovely and were accomodating. I had one woman coming over handing me coffee and DS2 juice and biccies....he was really overjoyed!! Again a better helper i couldnt have asked for....he was brilliant, he helped people into the building with their wears and they all complimented him (which he just loves) a pity I cant take him on thursday with me!!!

ETA: Belle, I didnt get calling up on sunday....I rushed home to get a nice hot bath:) oh and the normal mundane mummy things that a sunday night usually entails......ironing of uniforms/showering of teenagers who use 4 towels each/ Creaming DD from head to toe as her eczema is fairly itchified......and sorting out my cat who has just given birth to 3 kittens!!!!:D

Im sorry this sounds like a moan.....its not!!

Who is all going on Thursday to newcastle and Sat to Downpatrick??
Oh I noticed BIG YELLOW AA Signs Advertising the fair in Downpatrick on Sat!!!

Well Margaret rang me today......but I was just out of the hospital with DS1.....who being a typical teenager, tripped on his bag fell flat on his face and needed 3 stitches under his chin:rolleyes:....(poor inspector in the bus station in Dpk rang me and said dont panic, but your son has fallen and he may need to go to A&E....then he rang later on to see how he was)...DS had a chemistry exam this am but missed it....but he wanted to get to school to get it over and done with:rolleyes: mmmmm methinks he just wanted to go and show off his war wounds!!:p

She asked again if I was willing to donate a prize even tho i cant get a table......but the thing is is it for charity:confused: she didnt specify...so I asked her to ring me this evening!! She did say she would promote my products though and hand out flyers!! Is it worth it tho? (just incase its not for charity)
