PS - Thankyou for the lovely bath bombs - the children had a wonderful orange coloured bath last night and smelled lovely, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ALL AT FUTURE FAIRS (nothing like a good recommendation ;))

There is an option fo 2 partners and 3 partners, but I presume as offcially its just me, I do 1 an a helper would be covered too...at the end of the day, I dont mind too much as long as have what is needed to get in to fairs that require it!

  • hi me again - was just passing along the sea front in Bangor, Queens Parade I think it is and noticed that there was a big sign for a Car Boot sale on every Sunday 12.30 -5pm (I think!) Does anyone know if this is still on or is the sign an old one?

As you all know, we are organising the Stork Xchange Baby Fair in Larne in August and have invited crafters who make or sell baby and child related items along. I have to say that we have had a fantastic response, but we have also been very disappointed and surprised at how closed the NI craft scene appears to be and how few of our emails have been answered.....even with a "not interested". A lot of the crafters coming along to the event are just starting out or aren't part of any network or association and we are delighted that they will be joining us on the day.

We have spoken to people organising other craft events and they have said the same.....it's difficult to track down crafters who are interested in their events, or even answer emails sent to them.

So come on you lot, let us know what we need to do to get your attention. I know you are a friendly bunch.

hi indigo's mum i know what you mean about getting crafters to return emails or even phone calls  my friend and i have put together a few small local craft fairs usually in our church or village and we sometimes only find out on the day who is coming and who is not and we are both crafters and attend quite a number of fairs with most of the people we deal with  all i have to offer is keep at them and eventually they will give in and answer you :p good luck with the baby fair
