The lidl by us was normal, had everything i went in for at the weekend....am in liverpool
  • I was in Lidl in Dundee yesterday and didn't see any stocking problems there, my mum got a kilo of chicken thighs for £1.49 and the same price for chicken drumsticks and the freezers didn't seem any emptier than usual!

its the worst shop ever, i went in there spent £40 and still had to go TESCO....
  • Know what you mean - spent £55 today and still had no meat to speak of as fridges were empty, will end up having to go out again before the end of the week.
Ours is full of lobster, scallops, venison and duck - but no chicken thighs or stewing steak? Pointless!

    EDIT - LIDL's freezer's - not mine!!
  • Mine in Laindon, Essex has very little fresh meat and hardly any chilled stuff. Same as the Somerfield here.

Local Llidl's car park is always busy but I did notice empty freezers last time I shopped there.

Yes I would have to agree lidl did not seem worth the trip, I went last night to find no meat exept on opened pack of chops, very few frozen items, and the cost seems to be higher now than tesco, no point in going total waste of petrol and time, forget it, we went on to aldi which wasnt much better.
