Printer with 6 different colour cartridges

Thank you both for taking the time to reply to me.

Going to pick it up later and then the task beginns to get the desktop, monitor and printer out of their boxes and onto my desk.....

GaryS do you use HP cartridges? I havn`t used them in my exisisting HP one for years and not had problems, the place where I get them does them for the HP 7280 and says they are compatable, but if I can find them cheaper then that would be great. ~thanks

Thanks, these are for HP ones which seem realy good prices, just wondering was there any good substitute ones out there.

6280 and 7280 use 363 cartridges, there is a pack with a set of 6 cartridges and 150 sheets of 6"x4" photo paper available for less than £30. Costco have it for about £26. (edit, penrhyn spotted it at 7dayshop for that delivered.. Thanks!) Even individually they are quite reasonable. Previous inkjets jave been ruinous but I dont think I`ll bother looking for non original carts if the real thing is that sensibly priced

Sorry, can`t say which one runs out fastest, my 6280 still going strong on the originals! I have had no problems so far and I am very pleased with the print quality.

If you are comparing those packs with inddividual cartridges then be aware that the pack cartridges have less ink in them than the individually sold ones.
