o2 Broadband - Quidco Question

Hi,
Basically we are currently on BT Broadband, we pay about £15 a month and have a 10GB useage limit. We keep going over the limit and incurring penalities so are looking to change our broadband deal.
I've seen the O2 premium deal which is £9.79 a month for O2 customers with speeds of upto 20megs and unlimited useage. This would be ideal for us.
Basically i've spoken to BT and we have an 18 month contract with them which runs out at the end of August. To cancel our contract with them would cost us £125. Now i've noticed that Quidco are offering cashback of £70 for people who sign up to the O2 broadband service through them and was wondering if anyone had done this and had received the money as if so this cashback would cut down the cost of us cancelling our contract to £55 which would pretty much be worth it in the long run for unlimited (obviously to a point) useage for a cheaper monthly price.

Hi.
The quidco seems to have tracked for a few people meaning they should get the money - obviously with Quidco it can take months to get the money. So by the time you have someone physically with the £70 in their account the offer is long gone. Also by signing up to Premium you can get 3 months free which would soften the blow. Can't BT bring the price down.0 -
Cheers- didn't realise you got three months free with the premium package so thats great ive made the swap now. Any ideas how long it takes to track with Quidco?0

Quidco usually tracks within a day with o2.0

I've had a look at the QuidCo website, and it seems you can still get cashback on all 4 O2 broadband packages. I am interested in the Premium service, so would get £75.
Could someone explain in simple terms how I go about getting the cashback? When I follow the link from the QuidCo site to the O2 site, it just seems to take me to the standard O2 broadband page and no note is made of the fact I've come through QuidCo.
Thank you!0 -

Once you've signed up with Quidco, you just log in, the click through to the merchant of your choice (in this case O2) and sign up as normal. It doesn't then mention Quidco, but if it tracks successfully when you log back into Quidco a few hours later you should see that it has tracked. In my case it took about 7 weeks to pay out.
If you want the Premium service, be sure you can get this speed, otherwise just take the Home Standard service, you can always upgrade later. And be quick, because the first 3 months free offer is closing on 31/10.
Also you can get a fiver a month further discount if you register an o2 mobile number at signup.
Do not sign up for the O2 Access (non LLU) service.
PS: just realised I've given you most of this in reply to your other post. Doh!No free lunch, and no free laptop

I signed up to O2 Home Access a few weeks ago, therefore im eligible for the 25pounds cashback. However, I just received an email from O2 saying theyve unbundled my exchange and will move me to standard package. I was just wondering, if i upgrade from standard to premium, can I get 75pounds cashback from quidco instead? Anyone in this position before?Eleventh Heaven #23101 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 110

No, it's only for new sign ups, not upgrades. Before you go up to Premium, check you can get a speed betwen 8 and 20Mbps that makes the extra worthwhile. Coming from Access, the speed of Standard will probably be more than enough for you.
Getting shot of Access should well outweigh the loss of your cashback! And of course you'll save about £10 a month on Standard. No free lunch, and no free laptop
