the forecast is rain for Scotland , but our outside thermometer is at -4 and its snowing. I think I will shove "cold weather payments" back in the messy drawer in my head and forget all about them :)
Same here, our "local" weather station is Albermarle which is 33km away!

Like you I think I'll just forget about the cold weather payment, I'm not expecting to get it.

    Hi folks

Don't know if anyone can confirm this but I checked the postal code and its there for the cold weather payments, we have a son with disability where he is on DLA (high rate), and hubby is now on Income based JSA due to losing his job early in DEC and I am my son's carer, he is 13.

My hubby received the JSA payment today and this is paid in arrears, so next time he signs is the 15th Jan, would the payment actually come out the same time as the JSA or separately?
    Thanks folks, much appreciated.;)
