Love the Pic's Mel, your so good at cheering me up, I had Fish chips and Curry on thursday and endded up with curry all down my top too.. Serves me right for being lazy and not cooking LOL..:rotfl:

The House is bomb site not really getting much done, we were at the Funeral yesterday, so it was a bit of a tough day all round, and I now have the F-I-L Staying as he was a bit upset and wanted to come back with us. Reallyneed to et stuck in at home, but hey it will still be there tomorrow.

Hope everyone else is ok, you all sound like your having great fun with the scrap booking, I might have to join you all when I get things straight here.

Was a bit disapointed yesterday Argos hae sent me a Cheque for £100, when I asked for Vouchers, I'm gonna end up spending it now rather than saving it  but if I spend it on Pressies I'll still be money neutral?? Is that right?

Anyway better get on and at least try to do something while everyone is still in bed.

    Catch yoiu all later

yep - you'll be money neutral still sarah - at least you'll have more choice of shops but it'll be hard not to spend it on other things - don't keep it in your purse. I put all my gift money neutral cash and vouchers out of sight - out of sight out of mind.

Furrypig - I never got adopted when I joined - just let us know on here if your stuck on anything.

    chocolateorang - LOL

bought myself an energy drink to get house straight this morning and my Mr T is getting delivered, seem to have let things slip since christmas! so want to go to superdrug today, was thinking about attempting to walk over with DD but it's soooo cold.

Thanks Julie H is that your name on there as well?? I'm still furrypig there as I don't have enough imangination to think of another name!!! I just like the idea of having someone looking out for me who was experienced with papercarfting/tools etc etc to be honest I did PM pinkladymel many months ago to ask her some advice on buying something to cut shapes (ie fiskars shapecutter was what I was thinking of buying!) but didn't buy anything in the end as I think it's a tool u love or hate (like marmite!).

Thinking of looking at prices for tools in the states Ihave been told even with the poor exchange rates it's prob a third cheaper for things over there!!

  • Thanks for clearing up the money Neutral dilema Scattymam, I have relegated an old Teapot thats never used for putting the vouchers in to keep them safe.

Might go see what gifts/ Bargins are about with the money then transfer the remainder into vouchers so I'm not tempted to spend the rest LOL:o

  • Hi
I hope you will let me join even though I'm a bit late.
I try to do a lot of money neutral stuff.
I knit scarves, crochet blankets, make shopping bags, I sell these & the money I make pays for Christmas.
I sell on Ebay & Amazon & use this money if I buy from them.
I do TNS surveys & after 18 months had £40 in Amazon vouchers, I used these to buy myself a new toaster.
I was given Tesco & M & S vouchers for my B'day & used these to buy Christmas presents.
I work a few hours a week on a chatline & try to earn enough to pay for my phone & broardband.
I made Mars bar Vodka, bags, blankets, socks & scarves for family & friends for Christmas.
I hope this qualifies me to join.
    Hugs Hester
