WoW Rusty I am so inspired by your creation for your OH that I want to make something right now!! I would love a big box of allsorts like you have made. I am really embarassed you told your OH the story.. LOL!!
Furrypig.. WOW!! That castle is absolutely WOW! Well done on capturing such a beautiful pic! I bet seeing the kids have so much fun is the best part of the holiday. Sounds like another world
Jammy.. sorry you are feeling poorly hun!! I hope that you get better for tomorrow xxx
Hellooooo everyone else and thank you very much for your well wishes and love.. it instantly makes me have the most pathetic smile on the planet.
I do have something to tell you in relation to the sickness.. there is a TERRIBLE bug going about!!
I was relaxing last night reading Twilight when Lee decided he wanted to put his arm on my side of the bed and was literally fighting me in his sleep. I have wanted to read Twilight for so long now and I was so disappointed because I didn't think the author was any good but by the time I got to chapter 6 I was competely gripped.
I have got to go to Lees nans today and catch food poisoning from her cooking. Last time, she made me a pie and you know those plastic tags things that hold labels on.. there was one of them in itI can't craft there because everyone watches me like I am performing magic so I may have to take the old book and be anti social.
How is everyone today:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -
Hello Shelly, Welcome!! What is a neck sock? Does your husband have feet growing out of his neck? Sounds awesome!! You have so got to stay and be addicted.. We love to craft and love to chat.. and erm.. some of us have more than a few unfinished projects:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0

Hi all
Furry - I am soo jelous of you on your fantastic holiday, I really want to go (have never been) so think I might make it a goal for 2 years time, my girls will be 5 by then so should appreciate it...
plm - Sorry to hear you will be poorly again tomorrowmaybe you could say you aren't hungry lol!!
I got my pack of crafty bits today that I ordered from an ebay seller and am soooo giddy and can't wait to start a project, I am really pleased with everything I got, the only thing is I ordered 2 x mini scrapbooks - they come with a front and back cover in a colour and then some white inserts, they are really really small, (well they were only £1.25 each!!) have any of you done these mini scrapbooks? and if so how!! and what!! am at a bit of a loss...
I too have got buggy stuff going on, have had ds off school for the past 2 days, he is really weird though, fine one minute then complaining of tummy ache the next  going to pick up my girls soon from nursery, they were really grouchy this morning so hope they are in a better mood!!
Scattyman that trampoline sounds great, my kids love the trampoline, my garden is too small for one, but my neighbours have one and in the summer I struggle to keep them from running over there at every oportunity!Jun GC £250.00/£12.40 NSD 3 / 30

Hi all, I shall post pics later of the things I've made for OH, when I've finished everything, lol. I was soooooo exhausted yesterday that though I came in here for my coffee as usual I was a wall flower, quietly watching from the edges.
Almost as exhausted today but have decided to take some time out to rest, reflect on the jobs I've done, & catch up on here, thankfully the holidays start tommorow, I have the chance for a lie in (only a CHANCE, lol).
Hoping everyones feeling better, including the kiddie winkles, & you dont end up being too ill PLM.
Hi Shelly, I know how you feel, sometimes I have to be very strict with myself to get some projects finished.
Goochie I've been too busy to notice its friday 13th! Just getting general jobs at home & at my moms, maybe thats my bad luck
Aurora, that sounds YUMMY, can I come to yours for dinner?
WOW, gorgeous photo furrypig.
PLM, lol, bless mini PLM, DS1 was so used to following me into the bathroom when he was little that he thought it very strange that, when he say my friend changing her new baby girl she had no hair down. DS2 actually runs to the toilet if he hears someone go in there, he puts the seat down & flushes the chain for them, its funny to hear OH yelling "noooooooooooo" when DS2 tries to put the seat down mid flow, lol.
While shopping yesterday I picked up 2 of these in boots, its been mentioned on the boots threads before but if anyone missed, if you can find them they're going for about £3.xx each (were about £10-£14), buy one, get 2nd half price, so in total coming to below £6 - have put them aside to go towards each of my brothers xmas pressies. You cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground0 -

We went out this morning down to the beach ... kids were dressed up warm and ready to go ... son was in the sea not bothering if he got soaked (which he did all the way upto his waist) and was walking round with wellies full of water!!! My daughter wasn't best impressed with any of it and proceeded to walk along the beach screaming and shouting at everyone and if you dared to look at her she would just throw herself to the floor lol .... kids!! ... we were going to fly my sons kite he had for his birthday in sept for the first time ... took it out the bag and there are bits missing ... important bits like a string and a handle!!! ... bang went that idea!!
Now I am sat relaxing with a nice cuppa and I might have an afternoon nap whilst one is sleeping, one is playing in his room and OH is on his xbox again!
Hope you all have a good dayRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
