Hmmm I have been doing it wrong all along:rotfl:  Notty on the other hand will see this as sound advice;)
whoops!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl:
I have just spent £60 at the vet _pale_
I was giving Charlie a stroke and I found a small bald patch about the size of a 50p piece near his shoulder joint with a lump under itGot on the phone to the vet and whizzed over as it was still open surgery. Had his jabs done as they needed doing anyway (which costs £30) and the vet said he has a little bit of mange, probably picked up from a fox being in the garden a week or so ago  He also gave him a bit of an MOT and service, said he will need his teeth scraping within the next 12 months under anaesthetic.......and that he was a 'bit tubby and needs to lose 2kg' (even with 2 walks a day!). Then he stuck a thermometer up his bum. The indignity of it all! :rotfl:
Anyway, I was thinking it would be around £40 in total, but it was £30  for the stuff he needs once a fortnight for the next 6 weeks. He said it should clear up and the lump is a localised swelling from the mites burrowing (yuck) but he'll have to go back for skin scrapes if it doesn't.
I know that ex will give me half back when he is back, but still a bit of an unexpected expense today.
