I think some (not all, by a long chalk) of the Per Una stuff is quite nice....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Bracknell is horrible. With a slooooow train from Waterloo to get there!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Rather than spurning a pay rise this year, he should be accepting a pay cut.
.
Wihtout a bonus, presumably he will have a big pay cut?...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

I've bought the odd Per Una garment in the sales, but Autograph is the one I usually go for, (when vastly reduced!). I once wrote in and complained that the older models were all sporting the frumpy (imho) Classic stuff whereas the more expensive Autograph range was modeled by 30 somethings. The reply said nothing in particular, just that they had something for everybody.0 -

That's still a lot more pricey than most budget ranges and besides which, I can MAKE it from scratch for a lot less. They're starting to try and go in the right direction but not going far enough....
Ughh.
I see in Asda they have "ready made" mashed potato for sale for about a squid. And ready made chopped up veg for you. People really have had too much money.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -

Their jumpers are quite nice (when reduced, as you say)....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

I like the cashmere, although the quality is not great. I have returned the odd one in the past. One customer services lady said that 'bobbling' is in the nature of cashmere, but not the quality Scottish cashmeres that I remember. Still, the styles are quite nice.0
