I notice from the T&C for the latest offer.You dont have top up by £10 to get the first months 300 texts free.Nor do you have to be a new customer.So if you wanna grab yourself 300 texts for a month you can at no cost to you.

:Free text top up (the "Reward") is available to:
new customers who purchase a new pay as you go SIM or handset through the Orange shop online (http://shop.orange.co.uk) and register it to the text top-up tariff
and existing Orange pay as you go customers who change to the text top-up tariff on the Orange website (http://shop.orange.co.uk/shop/payasyougo/rewards)
When moving on to the text top-up tariff from either Fixed Rates all Day, Choose your own off peak or Talk & Save please be aware that you will not be able to return to your old tariff.
Customers will receive 300 free text messages (the "Free Texts") and 1 Mb free Orange World Access (the "Data") regardless of spend for the first month. Thereafter customers must top-up by a minimum of £10 in a calendar month, to receive a variable number of Free Texts, which will be dependant on your total top-ups in the previous month as per the table of top-up thresholds below. If you do not make the minimum monthly top-up Free Texts and Data will not be given.
