    Debt-free and Proud!
i've only paid £30-£40 return for the car on the ferry.
Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.

Apparently with Tescos clubcards points you can get cheap Eurotunnel deals.

Life has a way to test you, it's how you deal with this that matters
  • Try Norfolkline ferries from dover to Dunkirk return can be from £30 for a car with up to 5 passengers. You do have to go at pretty unsociable times though but we use it all the time. They do multi-trip offers as well which are totally transferable so if you get together with a few others you can plan a few trips and make bigger savings. The link is https://www.norfolkline.com
  • Use P&O and use the code RM0104. You can usually get a day return for £20 or so.

If you're prepared to travel in the early hours then it can be very cheap. You see loads of Motorhomes parked in the evening on Dover Esplanade awaiting their post midnight ferry.

I am really surprised no-one has yet!!

There are not many details here, are you travelling by car/foot???

Are there any coach services, as I have found these cheap for crossings to Ireland.

If you think £20 each way is ridiculously high, you may want to question whether you can afford to go or not because the road tolls (autoroutes in France etc) and vignettes will scare you silly.
