A former journalist who was living on the streets this time last year is using his story of recovery to help others.
Ed Mitchell, once a newsreader for ITN, found his life spiralling out of control after a 15-year addiction to alcohol.
But after going into rehab last year, the 55-year-old has remained sober and has now become one of the faces of Centrepoint, Britain’s leading charity for homeless young people.
Mr Mitchell featured in The Argus after he was discovered living rough on Hove seafront last year.
