Cheapest razor blades

If you're shaving the corners of your chin spaceboy, you need to learn to shave slower and more carefully, and rinse the blades more often. The fact you claim the shaver clogs up is evidence of that.0

Sorry to go off on a tangent but have the people who say that the 5 blade razors (Fusion) are a gimmick, have you ever shaved with these blades?????
You could then also say that the Fusion Power blades are a bigger gimmick, however i puchased the normal fusion powerblades - as they were 1/2 price and they did not shave as good as the powerblades.
I was brought up in the philosophy "You pay for what you get", maybe in this case that saying applies......:beer:In My 'Permanant' Pre-Masters Gap Year

My husband often uses my ladies blades and says there much better than mens. At the moment we're using Asdas own, there in a pink and orange box, cant remember how much we paid for them, but they would have been cheap knowing my oh :rotfl:

I have found the eBay blades to be very good looking/well copied fakes but they lose the sharpness after a few shaves... I use Gillette Fusion Blades but cant find a better deal including P&P than the £14.99 for 8 deal on Amazon at the mo. Can anyone find me a better price?
£15 for 8 blades, blimey what a rip off:o0 -

Yes I have. Like I said, they clog up with hair because the blades are so close together, they are big and clunky and not as manoeuvrable, and they are ridiculously expensive.0 -
I used to use the Tesco own brand 3 blade disposable razors (blade is the same as the tesco non-disposable but handle is different and disposables are cheaper iirc) - also noticed one day in asda that their own brand 3 blade disposable razors are the same
Nowadays using Gillette Sensor 3 disposable blades from Wilkinsons - decent price when they have 2 for 1 offers one which is quite often so I stock up then0 -
You use a thing called a 'strop'. Im a female so i dont use one of these, but there are meant to be a lot better than normal razor and if you get a decent one will last you a life time. Look scary if you ask me though
You can 'strop' a safety razor as well. I give mine fifty strokes forward on the palm of the hand (no sniggering at the back) before shaving each morning and I've used the same mach3 blade for about 7 months.
You do need to prepare the skin well though - I use very hot water and Ingram Brushless Shave cream, which works well.'Never keep up with Joneses. Drag them down to your level. It's cheaper.' Quentin Crisp0 -

Don't forget to put your blades in olive oil or something similar after use so that they don't go blunt as quickly. It's oxidisation of the metal between it being wet and dry that makes them go blunt, not the actual shaving. I used to always do this and they lasted much longer, I just use a beard trimmer these days so I've got a bit of stubble0
