  • I switched ages ago from Mach3 to Morrisons equivalent (3-blade). They're almost as good, for me anyway.
I also switched to shaving oil, which I find cheaper + easier than foam.

what about one of them cut throat blades? I'm sure they would be more economical in the long run. But dear god be careful! :o

I only buy razors/shaving gel when I see them on offer, which is surprisingly often. I recently got that new King of Shaves razor which came with 4 blades for around £4 or £5, which has lasted me for ages. Although nothing beats Gillette imo.

I've got a traditional safety razor, rather than one of the modern disposable types, and it works great. The blades are double sided, last some time and only cost about £7 for 200.

If you have a Home bargains they sell Wilkinson Sword Extreme 3 blades, pack of 8 for £1.99 they are £7 in Boots, the Handle & 3 blades are also £1.99 , easily as good as the Mach 3's i used to use , and im sure you wont find branded blades any cheaper, if you can please let me know !

I thought the 5-blades was a gimmick and waste of time (e.g. Gillette Fusion) but then I tried one and was majorly impressed. Only use them now.

As to cheapest? Not sure in the UK as yet. In the US drugstore.com is often good, especially with cashback schemes.

Nope, 5 blades is a gimmick imo, not nice to shave the corners of the chin I find, and they get clogged up with hair way too easily. 3 blades is plenty.
  • I have found the eBay blades to be very good looking/well copied fakes but they lose the sharpness after a few shaves... I use Gillette Fusion Blades but cant find a better deal including P&P than the £14.99 for 8 deal on Amazon at the mo. Can anyone find me a better price? :)
