Ok i dont really understand the cashback contract thing?
What is the deal and how does it work?

Im new to this forum so dont really know where I should be posting but oh well..
If im on a contract which isnt due to end until may/june am i stuck to it or can i change tariff before its due to end as im spending far to much money on it as i hardly use it..

The terms will vary from company to company and contract to contract.
I have had a few of these and they are mostly similar. You pay for the contract as usual but after certain points you send in a bill with your redemption certificate (usually a piece of paper to fill out). They send you a cheque a month or so later.
Easy !
Remember to do recorded delivery on your letter to them (about 75p extra I think).

advantages: V Cheap contracts
disadvanages: some companies make it near impossible for you to get the cash back (although there are some very good aswell. see the threads on this board about the cashback companies bofore getting one of these contracts)
