Zero for me again today... and probably the same for the weekend as not planning on going out. (I'm really not this boring - I do go out sometimes, but am on JSA at the moment, so really having to watch the pennies!)

Have got Martin's book to read over the weekend, as well as stuff to list on Ebay and a meal planner to do for next week. Also got a couple of DVD's to watch and OH will take me for another driving lesson on Sunday hopefully...

Just spent £95 on a Visa for Oz and £507.50 for my flight there (with 6000 nectar points!!)..

    I am so excited!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

After flying to Oz in cattle class. Oops sorry economy class. I vowed if I went back it would have to be at least business or 1st class.

After 2 X 10 hour flights never again.

We paid £550 two years ago to fly with JAL.

I assume that was a electronic visa. Other wise I would not have booked my flight being a rather paranoid person that I am. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have fun and enjoy. When are you going?

  • I spent £7.61 in Tesco, on food, a couple of reduced finest ready meals, milk and croissants. My car is currently running on air.

  • Another £0.00 day for me. Almost bought some console games in Dixons to sell on eBay (giveaway prices) but decided not too, as I think it would be better to avoid spending.

I'm going to try and have a quiet and cheap weekend. May break and go to the pub at some point, but will certainly keep spending under £10.

  • Spent £50.45 last night... I work in a pub part time and last night I had to pay our drinks bill run up over xmas and new year. Really grudged it!! So made £35 from my shift another £8 from tips and had to put £7.45 to it... An expensive lesson, I'll be paying for drinks up front from now on...

It was split between me and my husband but just seemed a really big outgoing for alcohol...

Spent £69 for Tesco shop this morning, all budgeted for!!

    Debt-free and Proud!
I went out with my sister and hubby last night for a couple of drinks and a meal.

I needed a drink after this week and wanted to also treat my sister to a drink or two for all her help and support.

    So......
    I spent £4 x 2 on taxi's ( a luxuary I know, I normally drive but I wanted a drink last night)
    £12.50 on drinks

Hubby paid for our meal and drinks with the meal and Sis paid for the quizz machine :)

We had a fantastic evening, well deserved and I feel much better for it, more relaxed and in control for the first time in YEARS.

I have work to do this weekend so I doubt I will spend anything, Hubby has just popped out to Tesco to grab a couple of things, my sc is on with a yummy chili for tonight and we have a bottle of wine left over from Christmas to enjoy with it.

Have a fab weekend everyone :)
