Went to pub at lunch but ate sarnies first so only spent £1.65 instead of about £6 if I'd have eaten there.

Off out to pub with a friend this evening so will probably spend about £20 but I got a promotion this week and didnt go out last weekend so not going to beat myself up about a little celebration.

Will try and be good over the weekend though.
  • £150 in tescos on shopping. About £100 on food and had to get a support bandage for my son, I got two rugs for the kitchen for £4.98 each, 24 cans of Diet Coke in a bashed box £4.85, some reduced cat food, a cloth that cleans windows and mirrors without smearing and some cleaning stuff.

I think that makes my january challenge up to about £427 quid and it is only 20th, 10 days to go on £73 pounds!

20p on a locker at the swimming pool (free to get in with £20 annual membership, bargain!), nothing else all day :A

Am going to Ikea tomorrow - treating myself to one of those nice bendy wooden armchairs (if anyone knows what I mean!) cos I have nothing comfy to sit on, nasty student landlords!! Will have to get some petrol to get there so tomorrow won't be such a good day!! :(

  • Nothing today, nor yesterday in fact – hooray. Been slaving away earning a crust or two. January savings look likely to break the £300.00 mark but I will need a chunk of that for the Spring/Summer gardening costs - well, it is my main hobby after all….excuses…

Brrrrrr…. It’s nice and sunny in Kent today but chilly. Was out in the garden for an hour and after that mighty, mega haircut a few days ago my ears are frozen - what I need is a couple of nice, fluffy gerbils to perch on them to keep them warm…..hee hee… :D

Haven't spent anything today! The joys of working at home. Spending the evening in with bf tonight, so no money spent there. Going out tomorrow night, but as bf and myself are both in debt we will be on a strict budget. Have a great weekend everyone!
    October make £10/day currently £11.02
  • Spent quite a bit today :o

Got my £25 voucher from La Redoute for recommending a friend, you have to spend £50 (which is fine, I've wanted to order some stuff for ages I was just waiting for voucher!) so spent £47!! Then to top it all off, I ordered some sale stuff with a £10 off voucher and that came to £39.95  Mind you, LOADS of clothes!!
